Is Alien Visions Closing Or Something?

I hate you I'm down to 2 120ML bottles for each of my 4 favorite Alien Visions juices! I've known Ben since I first came on here in 2009 when he went by the nickname of Porphy. I recall the early days of video chats and learning from all the OG vape folks. I remember when he first started his own e-liquid business and I've been a regular customer ever since. I've had nothing but great business with his company over all of those years and his tobacco blends are ALL I VAPE! Flue Cured, 555, Blend 4 and Gamel are all in my rotation because I could never decide on any particular favorite. I know this ridiculous new vape mail ban has put a lot of shops through hell or closed them down. I also know that there is a process that they need to go through for official certification. I can only hope that that's the only hang-up and they will be back soon. I've tried emailing several times, but no reply has been received. This is a crushing blow for many of us who've been customers for years. I used to also buy from nHaler (RIP Drew), but eventually AVE became my sole source of e-juice. I've been off cigs for about 12 years now and only vape the 3MG juice. I'd go to zero but that's not possible with tobacco flavors and I've tried and gotten over all the sweet dessert stuff years ago. Sorry for the LONG rant, but I am getting a bit panicky after seeing the same website notice for months now Alien Visions...please don't give up the fight...YOU ROCK!!!

Same here, starting in 2011. I've been buying Boba, Gorilla and Flue by the liter for 10 years. I can't seem to find a replacement ADV.

I've spoken to Ben and Christy on the phone before, shooting the ..... I sincerely hope they will be back. An update of any kind would be nice

The site's still there, but with a "Down for Maintenance" message on the shopping cart system. The good news is that it's a custom message that says they have plans to reopen (at least they did at the time of taking the site down).

Personally, I wouldn't hold my breath unless they plan on converting all their nic juice to CBD juice but then most former customers wouldn't be interested. Or perhaps they are planning on converting their stock to 0mg or TFN?

I don't know if there's any truth to it, but back in the day there was a rumor that Ave's proprietary nicotine provided a key part of the flavor in Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice.

Maybe if asked nicely they would disclose their recipes. Does anyone have their full names and what city they were in? It's often easy to find and contact people on the net these days.

It's total BS - and I'm ...... about it... I've been reverse engineering this and I figured out atleast the base of it.. In 2009 there weren't a lot of flavor companies at all - the "magic" of Boba's is clearly Magic Mix from Hangsen.. It's very difficult to source at this point but can be had it's just kind of expensive.. Hangsen was and is notorious for not being customer friendly and one of the big reasons Ben had so many issues with them and why they ran out of it a few times over the years.. If it's the last thing I do I will figure it out and I'll post it here when its done....

Ben - if your reading this or ever read it - WE all spend thousands of dollars with you over the years and unless you are sick or deceased this is unacceptable in how you treat your customers, Backwoodbrew is trash customer service too for the last 4 years but atleast you can order (and wait a month to get it MAYBE).

"Hi Bob. I do not use salted juices. I was wondering if you want the order refunded or shipped out? I’m finally stocked up and can ship orders. Living in NY makes it difficult. I count on other people to place the orders I can’t and ship to me. Let me know. Sorry it’s taking so long."
Also, out of the six sampler juices I ordered, Malty, Mild, Malty Toffee, Dulce, RY4, and Blueberry Waffle, Blueberry Waffle was probably the best, the 3 M's and RY4 are Ok, and Dulce came in last place. Just my own personal opinion.

I'm happy they are still doing business - I'm sure their customer base is pretty small from all the screwups over the years I was just thinking about ordering some Malty Toffee the other day and saw the horror stories on here and reddit.

I just started DIY and found a one shot flavor called Django's Bounty - it's 90% of what Boba's is and it checks all the right boxes - do yourself a favor (and your bank account) and order a 30ml bottle (which will make 150-200ml of juice).. I did add .5% apple cider vinegar which I heard was in Boba's recipe and I was amazed.. NO it's not exact but it's close enough and maybe better IMO (as someone who's spent thousands on Boba's over the years).. Just a heads up - even if you've never done DIY one shots are the easiest way to get into it.

I have it, but I have not tried it with the ACV. I'll give it a try.

I did the recommended 20% and it seems about 5% too high (almost tooooooo much flavor) but then again - I remember Boba's being bull of flavor.. Try it with the ACV - I haven't even tried it w/o it but I probably should to see if there is a difference.. Considering I haven't vaped Boba's in over 3 years - this is rrrrrrrrreally close and satisfying.. Something feels missing as far as the exact Boba flavor profile but its nothing that I missed enough to not enjoy this as much as Boba's... I want to say its raisin but not sure (and don't care TBH).. Good luck with the ADV - I did a speed steep in the crock pot and something I noticed was when I smelled the bottle at room temp - didn't smell that close to Boba's but when it was hot - it smelled REALLY close.. I'm guessing steeping is essential.
