I don't think RDAs are going away, just less popular. tanks may not be as good, but they're a lot closer now, and way more convenient.

Still drip at home sometimes, but mostly using Subtanks now for the convenience. Seeing this shift at the local shops too.

That's what I was basically thinking when I started the post.

The reg hammer has the potential to make dripping the preferred method for many by default. I have a half dozen decent rda's that I don't use anymore. I'm not even using my kayfuns much anymore. I've gotten lazy. I can get a good vape out of dual coil tanks and I don't really care about the cost. I go through 1 head a week. $4-5/mo doesn't really dent my budget and it's so easy to switch a head. If all that goes away, I'll go right back to rda's and rta's.

If innovation is allowed to stay in the market I can envision some incredible directions vaping can go in. Like a chip controlled device that uses micro injection into a chamber that mixes nic and flavor separately so you can dial strength of both with each vape. Multiple coils that can be fired in any configuration. No wick and self cleaning. Full control of nic strength, flavor strength, volume of vapor, and temperature of the vape with built in protection from burning the juice. A relatively inexpensive coil pack that can last a month or months.

Wow! I sure hope you see the future clearly! That all sounds like the BOMB.

I have an amazing tank, the Lemo Drop, and a Youde Goblin on the way. These two'll probably be the last 2 RTAs I buy (at least for a long while) since the Lemo Drop just bench warms for the most part these days. I have a Veritas that sees action at home and while out n about. It's leakproof, the flavor's amazing, and the dripping ritual's kind of like when you smoked and had to light each cigarette.I like the fact that you can switch flavors at the drop of a dime. Plus, maintenance is soooo much easier on this one.

Apples and oranges really. If you tinker to your heart's content, I don't see anything better than a dripper. Also to sample juices its probably THE go-to, but that's if you ever get out to possibly existing local shops. Else tanks are absolutely solid, but can often guzzle your juice without you even noticing. I was and am pro-tanks, but finally getting a dripper to tinker with definitely peaks my home-curiosity, not to mention forced breaks to re-juice it and remind myself how much $ I'm blowing.

The mini RTAs are the true new age - just about all we've grown to love, in the eGo 16mm package that's simply too convenient to carry. And uses WAY, WAY less juice. Clouds can well be up there as well, compared to similar older clearos and cartos.
