Think the Rolling Stones have a song called Beating Dead Horses.

    Might have been Dead Flowers.

Take me down little Susie, take me down
I know you think you're the queen of the underground
And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the U.S. Mail
    (adult signature req'd)
Say it with dead flowers in my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave
No, I won't forget to put roses on your grave
    RIP Charlie :(.

    "The Vapor Technology Association"

    "
The Vapor Technology Association represents the manufacturers, wholesalers, small business owners and entrepreneurs who have developed innovative and quality vapor products, providing adult consumers with a better alternative to traditional combustible products.
VTA’s mission is focused. Through innovative leadership in the industry, we strive to

      • Promote greater public health through smart regulations and responsible public policies
      • Transform the public debate around the vapor industry and dispel distorted and misleading information about vapor products
      • Keep the vapor market open and competitive across the board
      • Protect small business owners and their employees by ensuring the long-term viability of the vapor industry"
Vapor Technology Association | Protecting the Vaping Industry

With less than 2000 members (sighting only 1000+ members) Even their website itself hasn't been updated since 2020 with no new news/entries since 2019... VTA who?! Just for arguments sake let's say the VTA was representing the "vaping Industry", with less than 2000 members and an estimated 40thousand vape shops nation wide... you can do the math. Various state associations have done more to help their members at a state level.

As an aside Juul accounted for 63 percent of all U.S. nicotine vaping sales in 2020, making it the largest nicotine vaping brand in the United States by far. Accounting for about a quarter of that year's dollar sales, Vuse stood in second place... That Vaping Industry?

The problem is even though the FDA is asking for more time as I understand things everything should now be illegal to sell until an approval happens. Destroy an industry by doing nothing. Possibly the game plan from the beginning?
Some have said it wasn't legal {approved} in the first place, for years now I suppose you could say all vaping has been in the 'Twilight Zone'
    - But look around, see what is available - much is still there and all the talk of it suddenly disappearing has for the most part been just that - The question the government has to ask itself is does it really want to spend billions of dollars closing an industry that is generating billions of dollars in taxes?
Or like I say the control freaks in government may be evil - But they're not stupid!

Oh even the FDA admits in their own letter today that they cant possibly enforce on everything. They do have priority on enforcing on things that have got MDOs and things appealing to kids (I read that as flavors).

I really think the plan is only give real attention to the big company submissions. take out the low hanging fruit fast as we have already seen. Wait and see how many small companys fold now that their stuff technically cant be marketed. Oh look thousands of apps they can round bin instantly.

Plus throw in loss of inventory from those who received and will receive refusals of their PMTAs and no longer producing/selling those products, in the U.S. anyways. Empty shelves do not make for a full profitable vape shop.
I do believe their will be enforcement
    Tobacco Compliance & Enforcement
and how many reputable businesses want the government coming after them or can afford to pay the fines or defend extended legal actions against them

even you didn't expect an overnight disappearance of everything yet to be approved or disapproved. I'm not sure what industry you are referring to but if the remaining vaping products who have by government hand suddenly corner the vaping market and can be taxed much in the same way as traditional tobacco products then yes it's well worth their efforts to protect THAT revenue. After all isn't that the whole point?
