Is there a quick test method that doesn't require a 3 piece pv?

All the quick test methods I've found so far require a separate atty and cart. We have all kr8's and 510's with cartos and clearomizers, except my volcano clone which uses a tank/carto combo. Any suggestions? I'm anxiously awaiting an answer, as I ordered my first DIY juice supplies today! :) Thanks all!!

Talking about testing for flavor? Why not direct drip? Atty and a drip tip, and you're set. Can use some flavorless PG or VG to clear the atty in between testing.

So I could use an atty on my 510's or kr8's? I'm a real dummy on this stuff -- that's why the noob-type questions. :)

Correct. The atty of a 3 piece design should work for basic flavor testing I would think. Mix it up, drop around 3 drops or so onto the atty, put on a drip tip, and vape. You should get enough draws from that amount of liquid to get an idea where your flavor is. Drop some unflavored (and no nic if you so desire) fluid onto it and vape that. You don't have to inhale into your lungs if you don't want. Just draw it into your mouth and blow it back out a few times until you get no flavor.

From my reading, this is why until you have the percentage just right for a mix you are making, you keep it to a *very* small size. Just a couple of ML if even ... so you're not wasting.

Thanks SO much -- you're a doll!!! :)

You're welcome. I'm planning to start some DIY myself in July. Once I get past the craziness that is the 4th. Had initially wondered this myself, but seems to be the more common way. And once you have a mix you like ... up the volume and vape on, vape on. :)

I generally make a 3 mL test batch in a small bottle, shake it up a lot, then just smear a bit on my finger and taste it by mouth. That will give me a good idea of if I actually like the flavor. Then I drip into a 510 atty for vapor quality. The clearomizers or CE type cartos can be dripped too, and these tend to give truer flavor than an atty, at least to me.
