That we will be able to continue to buy vape supplies ? Online or in stores? In the US ?
I know it's not looking good ,but surely there must be something that's being done?

I much rather vape than smoke, hate smelling like an ashtray , yellow fingers etc yuch .
By potentially banning vaping they would , in their minds, force us back to smoking.
Which in my case won't happen, maybe if I knew I was terminal or the world was definitely going to end , than yes, otherwise nope.

So is there hope for the future of vaping?

Stock up on hardware and learn to DIY. Stock up on nicotine. Most of us old timers have a lifetime supply of both. You are late to the party but you should invest in as much gear and nicotine now as you can afford. You can also buy off the classifieds.

There is always hope, we all need to use our voices to sign petitions and write polite emails to our elected officials letting them know that adults have the right to choose to vape, or smoke or drink alcohol as long as we do it responsibly. There is always things that we can do to try to control the narrative and make a compelling case for vaping. IMO, there are things that make the vaping community look not as good as it could, like the CBD / head shop feel of most B&M stores and the YouTube shills who will slap their name on anything for a buck, and we should do everything we can to separate our vaping community from them whenever we can. Just my opinion.

Excuse me if I sound a bit cynical, but I've been vaping for over 12 years. I'm one of the founding members of CASAA. I've signed petitions galore and written all kinds of emails to Congress people. This crap still happened. I mean we should still fight, but it comes time to look to one's self. Stock up while you can. Learn to DIY. Pretty soon you aren't gonna be able to buy anything anywhere except off the classifieds, assuming they don't shut down the forums.

I never mentioned stocking up or DIY, not sure what your issue is.

Unfortunately there is very little hope left. We that have been at this for a while fought the good fight. We signed petitions, we wrote to those that are supposed to be representing us. The main problem I see is we didn't have the kind of money it takes to keep what is happening from happening. We couldn't buy off the powers that be.

Some of my thoughts mattiem's blog | E-Cigarette Forum

I saw the writing on the wall early on and vowed this would not be taken from me. I stocked up on everything I would need to continue vaping for the rest of my life no matter what the powers that be threw at us. There may still be time to do so now although it may be a lot more expensive. PG, VG and flavoring should remain available.

Nicotine is going to be the choke point and the most expensive purchase but if it can still be bought now is time to buy it. Bottle it up in glass bottles and put it in your freezer. Today I can pull small bottle of nicotine bought in 2012 from my freezer and it is still as fresh as it was the day I bought it.

Spend some time over in the DIY section of the forum. If you can follow a recipe you can make your own e-liquid. Learn how to rebuild your coils. Don't allow the powers that be to take this life saving thing from you.

Search online for "100mg/ml nic base" and you will find vendors selling 100mg/ml nic concentrate for home DIY. There are plenty of DIY topics on ECF for tips on getting started making your own juice. You can also find vendors who sell cigarette flavors and sweet flavors if you are into that. You'll need PG and VG as well as nic base to mix your own juice.

DIY juice mixed at home will save you more than the cost of the supplies you buy to make your own juice.

Ya know, there really were threads right here on ECF about how to extract nicotine from tobacco way back when. So what's the problem?!? The cat got out of the bag a long time ago!! So there is NOTHING that we can't do for ourselves!!!!! Become "self reliant" if you want to vape. (and not smoke)

It's kind of a shame in a way, folks (like Innokin) started making tanks and mods and stuff for us, and we lost our way.
It was US that came up with the ideas for all these things in the first place. I still remember one of the longest threads here on ECF was about how to build your own CE-2 tank & carto tank.

Since I have been a member on ECF people have been doom and gloom about the future of vaping. I remember those times as well when people where going to extract nicotine from nicotine patches and tobacco leafs. This was probably around 2016 or so. You can still get everything now that you could in 2016, no need to extract nicotine from a patch. It really is pretty funny.

The difference is that back in 2016 there were predictions of changes for the worst. Now there has been those changes, b&m shops have closed down, online sites are gone. There are just a few stragglers hanging on. The PMTA has occurred, although yet to be enforced. It won't take long, though, before enforcement becomes commonplace. Then there's the postal ban which has caused shipping to be unavailable in some areas and the rest has to deal with increased prices and unreliable service. There have been near misses with sky high taxation of nicotine, with the possibility of it in the near future. Chicken Little was right. The sky is falling.

But it should still be possible to buy supplies from b&m vaping stores, it just won't be many flavored juice, but there should be nicotine flavored juices with nicotine. In the long run right ?

Ugh, this will just push me and many I'm sure towards smoking (which is what tptb want off course) , more sick people means more $$$ and more tax revenues. All this to so called stop kids vaping is an excuse.

I have stocked up for about 3 years in eliquids, I can hardly buy for several decades ?!!

Everyone has an opinion on this, and really any opinion is valid right now, but the FDA has already approved a tobacco & a menthol flavor. Yes, it is a Vuse, but it is also a precedent. I think the FDA will have a hard time justifying not allowing other tobacco and menthol flavors from other companies. So, if you believe that logic that I just laid out, you should be able to buy tobacco & menthol flavor juices both at a B&M and online. All the other flavors are probably gone, or will be gone. Vuse tried to get their berry flavor approved and I think the FDA rejected that one. Again, just my opinion, but I think you will be able to get juice, you may just not like the flavor. And one last time, in my opinion.

At this point I will be happy with any nicotine based ejuice, as long as vaping is still possible. I will otherwise, I'm 100% certain at this point ,go back to smoking.
