Is this normal for shipping from the states?

I know it hasn't been all that long and that it's a busy time of year for shipping, but the first few scans were very quick and now nothing for a few days. I've checked the Canada post website as well, they don't have a record of it yet so I assume it hasn't even crossed the border. Would this be going by ground? USPS website says First Class Mail International and I can't find anything on their website that says how it's shipped. Thanks.

Yes it is normal for tracking to stop after a sort facility. I assume that's when it boards a plane and leaves US soil. Apparently CP will pick up tracking for express shipping, but not for first class shipping.

Tracking has stopped numerous times for me in a major US city and the package has shown up a week or so later. Shipping from the US generally takes 1-2 weeks, 3 at worst - assuming you are in Canada.

Are you actually in New Zealand ?

In Canada, when I lose it on the US tracking page, it's generally 6-9 business days later that the thing is at my door.

5th day now since any updates and 6 days since sent out, but I also have a order from Quebec and it hasn't updated since Monday the 26th... annoying but I am hoping CP is just getting lazy on updating the tracking. I just keep telling myself "it is not a postal strike, it will be here soon, it's not a postal strike".... and then I dance around the mail box naked while continuing the chant!

Edit: Cyber Monday shipments are probably to blame as well. I really don't understand the update on Nov 25th (Electric Shipping Info received). It is actually in between the two updates on the 24th?

with first class mail I most often get an acceptance scan and then that's it..it arrives shortly afterwards and still shows accepted at office etc..sometimes i'll get processed through updates but most times not..

I received something that was shipped on the 14th, yesterday. And, that was from Pennsylvania!! So, hang in there and smile through the delays due to the Holiday rush!!

You may end up waiting a while, I got mine in today when it was shipped on the 8th, hit the last USPS sort facil. on the 11th.

As already mentioned, it normally takes 2 -3 to get a package from the US. If it is anymore than a month then worry.

Yes, I live in NZ now but am originally from Vancouver. I'll be there next week so got a few things sent to my sister's place.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, looks like I'll be waiting for a bit. Hopefully it'll be there by the time I get there next Wednesday.

Funny my Quebec order (batteries and charger) is still showing the same update since Monday... surely it has left Quebec by now? The Provari is also now in Quebec, maybe the two orders will meet up and travel together.

The wait is freaking killing me as I am in dire need of new flavors, I never anticipated this long of a wait (my own fault) But it's going to be worth the wait, I know that much.

Vaporus... they had the AW batteries and Xtar WP2 II charger... I found many vendors only had one or the other(chargers out of stock at a lot of places) but they had both. I never ordered from them before, they were supposed to ship express and only shipped expedited... sent them an email and asked why and they never responded. There was also what I am hoping was an error in the description of the charger... in one spot it is called Xtar, and another Xstar... after they never responded to my email it kind of shook my confidence.

Edit: My Quebec order just updated, now shows item in transit and it was dated back to Nov. 27th! Gotta love Canada Post! Also, it left Montreal and then went back apparently... I am unfamiliar with Montreal, maybe it is normal.

I wouldn't worry about the name difference, the photo indicates that it's a Xtar, I've seen this on other sites, and it might be spell check changing it on them.

That is what I figured... more than likely it will be fine. Though when I email and don't get a response on an issue, even as small as the method of shipping, it makes me cautious about the vendor.
