Issue with smokeless image volt battery - draw is way to loose

I thought I liked the tighter pull of the toothpick fix, but in the end it became too much effort and I got tired lungs

I was comparing my kanger battery ash cap and my volt battery ash cap. The kanger is smooth with very well defined air channels. The volt ash cap by comparison seems cheaply made. The channels are shallow and obviously don't do the job in many cases. Honestly I would have expected it to be the other way around. If I could get a bunch of the kanger ash caps I'd do it in a heart beat and replace the lot. I like the feel of the volt batteries, I like the colour choices. Having to drill holes in the ash caps seems bloody ridiculous considering they could fix it so easily by just getting better ash caps.

Even with the ash cap mod. Draw is still to lose sometimes the light doesn't even come on unless I pull real hard. I gave bought another bloog battery and don't have the issue

Adding a "me too" Imagine. One of my 2 batteries were like this, one was perfect. I wrote CS and after trying a suggested fix that didn't work, I was sent a replacement. The original color (black/purple light) was out of stock so I got raspberry/white light. I was beginning to think I was going crazy, or really unlucky to get 2 bad batteries , or really lucky to get one that works better than they are supposed to. Good to know my sanity is intact. (Well, as intact as it was before exploring Voltville. )

Ash cap fix didnt work for me, I ended up having to use to the toothpick mod of breaking it in one of the little holes on the threading. It takes more suction now but it works much better
