Last night I was driving down Penn and came to a stop light. An orange car pulled up and honked his horn. He said, "Hey man, is that one of those electronic hookahs?" Referring to my MVP2 that I was absentmindedly mindedly vaping. I told him what it was and he asked where to get them because he is looking for something like that. Being at a stop light, the only thing I could tell him is, "Google ECF, Electronic Cigarette Forum. You will find everything you need to know there. Happy New Year all and Happy vaping! :vapor:

If we keep our vaping under cover no one will ever see that people really do quit smoking using the product. I've passed out a lot of vendor cards (keep a couple in my wallet) and I've had multiple opportunities to explain how vaping works and why it's safer than smoking. I urge people to visit ECF. ECF is the reason I don't smoke cigarettes these days! Without ECF I might have tried a Blu, chunked it, and returned to a life of smoking.

I don't get out much to bars and restaurants and such, but I do do a fair bit of driving, w/ my "vaper on board" car magnet. I drive a stick shift, and have become fairly adept at steering, changing gears, and holding my ecig up on the wheel where it's visible. Do a lot of vaping at red lights. Love it when I see people watching me vape! Hoping it's made some of them curious enough to try vaping...

Whenever out walking my dog, when I'm about to pass someone smoking I whip out the VTR for a vape. I'm hoping for one to stop and ask about it, but hasn't happened yet. I have occasionally driven past some vapers. I just think to myself "right on." :)

Hmmm...wonder if we've seen each other? I've seen a few vapers on my commute. One was behind me on an onramp and I made sure he saw my gear and "thumbs up" in my rear-view mirror. He was smiling big and nodding. It's great to see others jumping on board. :)

I truly can't remember how many times I've written down google ECF for smokers I run into in smoking areas where I vape. Its so many times that I'm thinking of printing the Url on some paper strips to hand out. Maybe not though because most want it written on whatever note pad they're carrying and might loose the strip. Anyway, yeh, its simpler than trying to provide info while I'm trying to enjoy my vape. I can't talk and vape at the same time... kinda like not being able to chew gum while walking.

I'm a municipal employee for our local city - and drive a marked city vehicle all day. The city has a strict non-smoking policy with their vehicles, so we refrain from smoking. But vaping, that opens a bit of a pandora's box for us. The city hasn't said we can't vape in the vehicles, but I know its just a matter of time before someone in the general public puts in a complaint phone call to City Hall mistakenly thinking we're smoking in the vehicle.

I try and be discreet about it while driving - I don't vape at intersections or in heavy traffic. I try and stay aware of other vehicles in my immediate area to avoid being obvious.

But it'll be interesting if/when I get called into the boss's office and questioned about it. I'm sure eventually it'll become an issue they'll need to somehow address in their policy...just not sure which way they'll decide.

Until then...discreet is the modus operandi.

Stick-shifts and vaping, lol... wellll, back in the day I could steer with my knee, shift with my left hand and hold a baby bottle in my son's mouth with my right hand. I think I can handle vaping and shifting!!! lol... that brought back memories :)

I vape at the local pub. I'm waiting for someone to ask me, but I'm new to this. I have passed out coupons for my local vape store at work (but mostly due to selfishness, lol... they are near to my house and convenient and great and I have a vested interest in them staying in business!!).

ECF has free cards. All you have to do is pay shipping. I keep several on me at all times in case anyone asks.

Shut up and take my money. How do I get those? I firmly believe this is a great forum, and I have been on many for many things.
