Ran out to Staples a few days ago to make a return. As I got ready to exit the car a guy pulled up next to me in the lot. I glanced over just in time to see him hit his Reo so I flashed him my SVD. He beat me into the store but we exited at the same time and he struck up a conversation with me. He said I was the first vaper he's seen in the wild and we ended up talking mods, DIY, forums and other stuff in the parking lot. It was really refreshing to talk to someone face to face who knows a lot more than me and willing to share it.

Thanks Steve, it was a pleasure talking to ya! :vapor:

Stick-shifts and vaping, lol... wellll, back in the day I could steer with my knee, shift with my left hand and hold a baby bottle in my son's mouth with my right hand. I think I can handle vaping and shifting!!! lol... that brought back memories :)

I vape at the local pub. I'm waiting for someone to ask me, but I'm new to this. I have passed out coupons for my local vape store at work (but mostly due to selfishness, lol... they are near to my house and convenient and great and I have a vested interest in them staying in business!!).

I used to feed my daughter the same way but in rush hour traffic... Lol

It only takes one person to start a revolution.

I'm a municipal employee for our local city - and drive a marked city vehicle all day. The city has a strict non-smoking policy with their vehicles, so we refrain from smoking. But vaping, that opens a bit of a pandora's box for us. The city hasn't said we can't vape in the vehicles, but I know its just a matter of time before someone in the general public puts in a complaint phone call to City Hall mistakenly thinking we're smoking in the vehicle.

I try and be discreet about it while driving - I don't vape at intersections or in heavy traffic. I try and stay aware of other vehicles in my immediate area to avoid being obvious.

But it'll be interesting if/when I get called into the boss's office and questioned about it. I'm sure eventually it'll become an issue they'll need to somehow address in their policy...just not sure which way they'll decide.

Until then...discreet is the modus operandi.

The in-car sniff test probably won't reveal any evidence .... Make 'em prove it! You can always say you just had a chocolate-vanilla-caramel-mocha milk shake in the car a few minutes ago ...

I walked into Stormy's Vapor Cellar's B&M store the other day and it smelled absolutely wonderful. Will was vaping something really tasty. He was busy so I didn't get to ask him what it was, but it reminded me of the most aromatic pipe tobacco (unlit) that I had ever smelled.

Vaping just gets a bad review sometimes because uninformed people equate it with an alternate method of smoking. A vaping only bar would never smell bad when you walked in. There's no left over ash tray smell when we vape, that's for sure.

Whenever out walking my dog, when I'm about to pass someone smoking I whip out the VTR for a vape. I'm hoping for one to stop and ask about it, but hasn't happened yet. I have occasionally driven past some vapers. I just think to myself "right on." :)

That is exactly what I think when I see people vaping in public or on face book or wherever.

I really haven't had anyone ask me what I am doing just yet. I have had a few people interested in what I had hanging around my neck when I worked in retail a while ago and I explained but nothing more just yet. I am going to have to get some business cards for vendors and carry them around with me wherever I go now!
