Seriously, I hope that I don't get banned or suspended for this post, but I need to get something off my chest.
We just had a very informative thread closed regarding a new APV. I don't know whether the thread is closed temporarily or permanently (I hope not) but it was just starting to get really good.

Provari owners..I understand that you are thrilled with your devices.
I understand that the Customer Service and build quality of your device is peerless.
I understand that you feel that everyone should have a Provari.
But understand this:
Not everyone can afford one.
Not everyone wants one.
Please stop insinuating the Provari into inappropriate threads.
I'm sure that you believe that you are enhancing sales of your device but you may ultimately be hurting their sales with the kind of high-brow attitude regarding your device to the exclusion of all others. No one likes boorish behavior and the kind of behavior that I have seen exhibited by some Provari owners is annoying and off-putting and can have the effect of people not wanting the Provari because of the dismissive attitudes toward APVs they may want that are not a Provari.
When people are interested in a Provari they will get around to it when they are good and ready, if they get around to it at all.
You think you are doing Provape A favor but you are not.
Please stop it.

i wish i had the money -but my wife wants the new Evic - so that is where my overtime earnings will be going for the time being! There are a great deal of devices i would love to own - i have a REO grand and just lost my Silver Bullet - but i have friends that love Provari - Zmax and all those.
imho it's really best to just let people try them and try not to evangelise too much about ANY device. e-ciggies have come miles in terms of development in the last few years. from the ones i first tried say, 3 years ago. Such progress is welcome and something we ought to embrace rather than becoming 'tribal' if you like about one device or another.
At heart - we all all united in one aim: namely to rid ourselves of the curse of tobacco!

I think you are over reacting, or maybe I'm not seeing those "wrong" threads. I see a lot of various devices being recommended. I'd even say a twist is somewhat a leader from what I see.
People are trying to help others. I don't care how good and epic it is, I can't justify 200$ price tag on it at this time.

Edit: Actually this kind of threads is annoying. Like countless posts about bieber being horrible that gives that much more recognisability because those posts outnumber 5 to 1 actually fan posts.

I think its post like these that need to stop personally.

I dont particularly like it when someone recommends a 280 MaH unregulated pv to a 2 pack a day smoker of 30 years or when someone says that everyone needs Variable Wattage but Im not posting about it or singling out a particular group of people in the process.

Provari fans arent the only ones guilty of doing this. I find posts like these just as offensive as I would if you inserted someones race, creed or religion into the title in place of Provari owners.

All they do is fuel hate,bias and divisiveness.

If there is a thread going about a specific device, for goodness sakes let people talk about that device in peace.
If you want to start a "I love Provari" thread, by all means do so, but don't go around to every discussion of another unrelated device and interject "get a provari". It's boorish. Its like me going into a Ford dealership and talking about the advantages of a Ferrari.
As far as enhancing sales I meant doing it by fiat, not directly or consciously.

I have a Provari that I love, and I agree with you 100%. I find it especially off-putting when another poster's admitted financial limitations are ignored or dismissed. I saved up for a LONG time to buy a used one. In the meantime, I used, and I still use, other great, less expensive devices. There is no one PV that's right for everybody, but everybody can find a nice one that meets their needs.

Exactly. It would be nice if everyone had 200.00 to just blow but especially in this economy, they don't, and I see in some cases that fact is totally ignored.

I agree with that, but you know what? Interwebz... you can't do anything about it, and believe me threads like these are not going to do any good. People are not reading posts fully or partially. I'm new here, but been for quite some time on overclock forum, and you know what? If there thread about AMD card, like what brand to get, you'll see at least 1 post that will say buy nvidia.
But you can just ignore them, it's easy

Agreed..but this is Christmas..it's situational. All people are trying to do here is get off ciggys/stay off ciggys.
I just don't like to see a perfectly good thread about oranges get closed because people start talking about apples.

That's too bad, but no idea how mods do it here. On OCN I''ve seen a lot of threads cleaned from holly-wars instead of closing them. But every time it takes somebody from both "camps" to divert thread to something it wasn't. If the fanboys are just ignored by everyone - it never happens. That's in my experience.

My monthly bill just on groceries is around 800$, I still don't find provari reasonably priced.
My speakers and receiver cost is 11000$ and I still don't find provari reasonably priced.
Veyron is priced and sold at almost 4mil.? And I still don't find provari reasonably priced.

It might be "that good" but I ordered Vamo... because I've heard that vaping is actually cheaper and saves you money vs cigarettes.
Having hard time to get there tho
