So far it's working pretty good and really easy to change voltages. The changeable atomizer/tank system it has is alot better than the eGo-C system and has different ohm options for 3.3-5 volts. The Tidy Cartos it comes with are just like the phoenix bottom coils from Gotvapes. Both the atomizer/tank and Tidy Carts need a good break in to reach true flavor potentiel. As far as the device goes it's solid with a unique LCD screen that just looks like a chrome mirror finished plate instead of a screen. I measured it out on my multimeter and it's dead on...if I set it to 5.0 my multimeter says 5.02. You can also plug a tiny cable into the bottom and use it as a PT as it's charging wich is nice. Oh yeah, the magnet system is a great innovation...diggin that. Just snaps right in and stays sturdy.

I'll have a video review up not too long from now after I do the V-Max review.

Happy vaping!
Sounds awesome. Do you have any pics? I'd be very interested in seeing what it looks like next to an eGo for eg.

Yes please!! lol! What is th driptip/mouth piece like?

It dosen't really have a drip tip...the tank system mouth piece is like a square eGo-T tank cart. The Tidy cartos didn't come with nothing but standard carto plugs.

I held it up to a 900mah eGo and it's the same length so little longer than a 650mah but little shorter than a 1100mah eGo batt.

Duh... sorry, I forgot lol! So, can a 510 driptip fit in the Tidy cart and if so,can the cap fit on with the driptip attatched?

Yeah 510 drip tips fit nice and snug...can put a drip shield on them too for looks :) the pentop cap won't even fit without a driptip on the Tidy carto :-( the only way the top cap fits is with the tank system.

Just had my delivered a few hours ago. Initial impressions aren't good for me, but I'm wondering if it's operator error. Draw is really tight, and not that much flavour. Tried various voltages, with some improvement, but still disappointed at the moment. Maybe I need to just spend some more time with it. Am going to try the 510 adapter.

If you're talking about the Tidy cartos...the draw is really tight on all of mine as well but the flavor will come through as it breaks in some take longer than others. Might have to run a full tank through it and clean it before it will actually taste right.

Thanks for the tip. Will give that a try. I'm thinking this may only be useful for me for the vv battery aspect.....

thanks for clearing that up. i was thinking that the iTaste was like a VV Ego. we all know that the VV ego is not truly VV. it does allow you to increase and decrease the voltage, but as the power supply drains, the maximum voltage decreases. i dont have any evidence one way or the other if the iTaste is like this or if its closer to a mod that has a "truer" vv capability. either way, i am no longer considering the iTaste so the answer wont matter much. just more of a conversation i guess.

I believe you've got this one all wrong. As a battery drains, the power output drops. Regulated or not, this is a simple fact of battery power. Regulators smooth it out, but the battery itself, the actual battery cells, always do this.

What I got from that line is that when the voltage output of the actual battery drops to 3.3v, which would be critically low for a 5 volt battery, the regulator cuts the power so you can't damage the battery by running it dry. That's actually a very good feature. It's very tough for a regulator to bump voltage up enough to make a 3.3v battery run at 5v, and it requires a huge current draw. Doing that to a battery that can probably put out 5 or 6v when fully charged once it's down to 3.3v would almost certainly damage the battery and/or the regulator.

The iTaste will keep the same voltage no matter how much charge is left on the battery.
