Sorry it took so long but here's my review of the new versions with eGo connection and improved magnets.

Innokin iTaste VV Version 3 With eGo Connection & Updated Magnet Technology Review - YouTube
Nice. Thanks Optimo! By the way, can you please check if your Phoenix RA works on any of your iTaste batteries. You have three versions now, right? Is still have the original and the Phoenix won't fire on my iTaste. It works on any other battery, except the iTaste. Strange....

Thanks to everyone of you for the suggested solution.

Did you find a solution yet?

I have been thinking about you, but I don't really understand 100% what your question is. I saw your question is the Health Cabin forum and I think that they misunderstood you.

You can use an eGo device on the older iTaste (from Health Cabin). And they do sell 510-eGo adaptors. But it doesn't look so streamlined. Not bad, but if you only want to use eGo Clearomizers, then maybe getting the newer version (like in Optimo's video or in the pic from Masa) may be nicer?

I was sort of confused as well. Rather than risking it i decided to go for Vmax
Vmax Variable Voltage Battery MOD V2(Brass Body) [D-B5 Vmax MOD V2] - $79.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Hopefully i made i right decision.

Thanks for your help

My pleasure, it's all about how you position the center post of the Phoenix and the center post of the iTaste. I had a hard time getting it to work on the iTaste myself but with alot of fiddling it works. If there's any shorts in the coil though it won't fire it even if it fires on another device.

Thanks Optimo:). I'll give it a try. How will I know if I have shorts in the coil?

It's hard to tell unless you have something like a VMax that shows you the ohms while you vape...if the ohms change it's shorting. If the ohms stay stable it's fine. Shorts usually come from having the coil wraps too close together or touching posts/sides or when using SS mesh.

I've actually had the new updated magnet version start misfiring on me just like the ones before it. So my advice....don't get thoes get the new ones with the eGo connection if you're looking to get one. They were doing really good for a few weeks but after I did the review they started messing up and losing connection between the magnet.

Hmmm.... i had mine changing between 2.6 to 2.8 for a few times and then it finally settled at 2.6 though occasionally it might go to 2.7. Would you regard that as shorting ? And if it short in the coils, how would it affect Vmax ?

Thanks

Going up is good...that's a sign of a good coil breaking in. If it starts to go down alot then it's shorting. If it's shorting really bad the VMax will throw a F1 error.

Actually, I suspect it will work just fine with both of those, as it's worked fine with every 510 threaded carto I've thrown at it since switching from the itaste tanks to 510 cartos.

However, many of them won't fit under the cap, which is probably why they say the won't work. The tidy10 (not to be confused with tidy12) do fit under the cap. However, the only place that seems to have them in-stock at the moment is sterling vapor, and they want an outrageous $6.99 each, while everybody else wants $10-$12 for a 5-pack.

Sorry to pull up an ancient reply, but does anybody know if these fit under the cap? I'm guessing they don't, but regular 510 size carto leave a lot of dead space around them, and I keep hoping to find something that holds a little more than the tidy10 cartos but still fits under the cap.

I don't know if this will be of any help but I found an 808 clearo with long wicks. These are the bomb!
No leaking...Tight seal...Holds plenty of juice...Good prices..Great customer service and fast shipping
I only found them from one vendor.

Infinity Blank Clearomizer - O2 Vapor

I hope this helps :)

No normal size carto mate fits under cap ... I didn't try boge thou..... Maybe it dose with a tiny drip tip ..There's a very small carto out there I believe lots of vendors are carrying this midget carto :) you can give that a try if you fancy carto that much.. . I normally put attys on it " I love dripping and the cap fits great !!
