One problem I had when I first started to use Ithaka was that I wouldn't tighten the ceramic housing tightly enough so the juice control would unthread it. Also make sure that when you do a build (especially if you are using 2.5mm or smaller wick) that the wick is completely covering the wires because if the neg wire is making contact with the Mouthpiece then you have a short. Also after your build push down on the coils a bit so that they aren't sticking up far enough to make contact with the Mouthpiece (this problem was on my Penelope v1 but still worth a try. Good luck to you!

9,9 ohms will not hurt any mod levis. The resistance is so big that it will not even fire.

Please measure the resistance of Ithaka without any wire on it. Your meter must show a very huge resistance or nothing at all or maybe the number "1" on the screen

Thanks IMEO & Shak!

I think the connection on my APV is causing the ohm readings to be off. i will start using a diff APV to check resistance until i get a proper reader.
Shak, i'll try tightening the ceramic and the nut, as this may be the cause. i had not thought about the leads touching the MP on the ceramic side, ill pay close attention on the next build.
also, i dont think i have recessed the wick in a while, this may also be the cause!

after so many successful builds, i am baffled. but this is some great advice to adhere to and i believe it will solve the problem

fortunately, these are easy solutions!!
i think simple builds on drippers have cause me to get kinda lazy and less attentive when building the Ithaka.

new rebuildable part and older rebuildable part are both compatible with the Ithaka dripper sub. As for the mouthpiece, its hole is 5mm and ends at 7mm so its very large, no worries:)
Awesome! Thanks Imeo :)

I've never used an actual drip atty (I know I know!) so I don't really know details - does the mouthpiece have a larger hole so you can drip it easier onto the coil? Or is it literally the same mouthpiece, except to put your own drip tip on it?

Basically, I'm wondering if I should get that to turn my Ithaka (with new rebuildable part) in a dripper atty? Or can I still achieve the same thing just dripping into my current Ithaka mouthpiece? I just don't picture the liquid making it down the mouthpiece fast enough, but I could be wrong!

Another thing to keep in mind when screwing it onto other mods especially those without adjustable pins is to adjust ithaka's center pin out before putting it on. I have found because of how loose the pin is to adjust when taking my ithaka off mods and putting it back on sometimes it doesn't make a good connection if I don't adjust the pin out.

e-smokeguru has it in stock as well, I'm tempted to get it, I'm just a little confused with which is better for dripping on Ithaka!

Also Imeo will CoV have this new Spider Drip kit in stock within a week as well? What about the new rebuildable part? I think I'm going to go with this one over the older one. I will hold off on ordering from e-smoke if CoV will have it in stock soon, though! I just hate to pay lots of shipping for a small item like this

I don't wanna miss out :)

Most likely a preference thing, I don't actually drip through any of my drip tips, I take them off before I put juice on the coils and then stick them back on to Vape. I suppose you could drip juice down the regular upgrade MP, but for guys like me the new drip tip option is super exciting.

Glad I got a new job and I can afford all the new toys Imeo comes out with =)

Thanks for being the best Imeo!

Yup, I will be ordering that new drip tip from e-smoke.. just unsure of which shipping option I should do... afraid to do the cheap uninsured no tracking option, but hate to double my order price with the shipping here.

How risky is the uninsured option? I bet it ships a lot slower as well..
