Your grounding in the wrong place. Or maybe a loose wire causing no ground at all. In the ithaka when you wrap the neg, do you tighten the delrin nut then trim the wire? Check to make sure that wire you're trimming is ticked away. Maybe trim, tuck it under further, then tighten.
Same can be said on pos post. When you wrap that and twist the oring up, make sure there is no pos wire touching GG base when you tighten it down. With an oring compressed, you could force wire to stick out a little further against the base.

I tried re-wrapping a coil yesterday and for some reason I cannot get anything other than low ohm readings out of my provari, I've tried 30ga, 32ga, and tried 4 wrap, 5 wrap, 6 wrap and even 7 and 8. No matter what I am getting low ohm readings and an E1 when I try to fire on the Provari. Any ideas? When I dissasemble and clean to try again, all of the parts are in tact and nothing appears out of the ordinary.

Are you sure the positive wires aren't touching any of the housing metal? Could also be a very small metal burr from the machining, I've heard of this happening.. I would inspect the pieces very carefully.

I put it away for now. I did inspect the pieces very carefully and can't seem to figure it out. I will give it a go tomorrow and report back. Thanks for the help. (All of you guys)

... ok... fifth rebuilt attempt on my Ithaka, even if not necessary I put a brand new centre post o-ring and... now I see it floods, then leaks, from basic feeding that I previously always left open on one channel


but the big issue I now have is... how the hell am i supposed to take apart steel and plastic (see picture) and where/how should I place the new orings? (I removed the center pin to clean the juice sitting there on top, then when I tried re-inserting it... )

I put the basic feeding holes right on the wicks and i close the juice control before filling and fill by removing the smallest piece at the top of the mouthpiece. I still get alot of juice coming out of the center pin and have to shake it out of the mouthpiece before it's all clear.

Yeah I ended up having to close the basic feeding slots to resolve that issue.. Don't put them over the wicks and it won't flood when you fill it.
Not a big deal for me personally.

Or you can tip the ithaka up side down as you screw the little top cap on.

I have only had my Ithaka for a short time. The BF on mine is closed. If I were to use the BF, I suppose I would invert the device, as I was making the final last turns of the small cap.

When my next Ithaka arrives in a couple of days, I will experiment with the BF open.

thanks. I'll try turning it upside down before i finish tightening it up. hopefully it all doesn't just spill out lol.

the BP open helps use up all of the juice in there so i don't waste as much.

The grooves on the plastic nut was slightly melted but still functional. I guess ill have to wait until they make more of them in stock.

I just wrapped the resistance wire on the neg and pos and the coils lit up.

sure did, sure. Here is what I ended up doing: put the base (with the coil) in boiling water for two minutes, dry burn, boil again to make sure everything is clean and shiny, and re-assemble ithaka and start vaping. it seems to be working fine.

So I think I screwed my rebuildable housing in too hard again... warping the oring around the center post. It's not leaking but the oring gets wet. Anyway, I just took a couple orings from my spare Ody orings and put them on the center post. At least doesn't bother me anymore, no liquid is coming through, so now I don't have to keep checking it.

I'm thinking of using a thicker oring around the center post of ithaka next time, or at least just not screwing it in as tight! Has anyone else had this problem? I've never noticed it before, but maybe it's always been like that.. no leaking, just a wet oring.

Here's my cheap quick fix:

If I was gonna get fancy I could even put a thin washer between the center post part that you screw in, so it pushes the orings nice and tight to the Ithaka body (if that makes sense)

To everyone who replied to my post yesterday about the low ohm readings and E1 readings on my Provari, I am a COMPLETE .....! I was using all resistance NiChrome wire, I didn't use any NR nickel wire in my setup. I was exhausted yesterday and woke up this morning and it dawned on me that that is exactly what was going on. Sorry for the troubles, vaping happily again.

Imeo, I have had my Ithaka for about 1-1/2 weeks. I am quite impressed with it. So much, that I just ordered another one.
