I need one more week to finish the assembling Yankee. Then I will immediately ship to my sellers. As for your idea, is not bad at all. But maybe its good to reduce nic level if you have the opportunity:)
Perfect. Just watched all the videos. Definitely need those Ithacas NOW

One idea on dual coils. If you don't want lower nic, you could make each res wire 2x higher so you still find the overall res at same level as single coil.

Imeo, when are you sending them to sellers?

Always good to reduce nic level. :)
I was posting that for people that don't do their own juice. If they have, for example 12mg, and they are not ready to reduce yet, there is another way.

Pray tell. I use 18mg in my ody with 3.7v@1.0Ω. Been thinking about reducing my level, but I recently had a bit of a snafu with ordering and ended up with several hundred mls of this. :)

So in your setup, if you use dual coils, you'd end up around .5-.6 ohms. But if you make each wire 2ohms, and use dual coil setup, your overall res should fall at your liking of 1ohms. That gets you vaping where you want to be, and in the future, your order will be for lower nic. :)

Good advice Imeo. They are options when getting a Caravela. I personally never got one due to the discolouration that occurs and gunk that comes off when cleaning brass.

yeah the problem is when the brass oxidizes, you do not want that in contact with your juice, stainless all the way

Videos look awesome. So I was thinking more of the 3.5 mm silica wick for the ithaka. Sorry if this was mentioned before, but could we just do a single coil wrap, then gently separate the strands and put 3 strands of silica in each channel? Do you think this would work, such as being enough material in each channel and such?

One more configuration for the guys that dont want to make a X style with a coil around 2 wicks, is to make a diagonal coil and then put a wick without wire on the first one, diagonal again. Or make the opposite. Put first the non coiled wick and then the coiled wick, all diagonal.

I will let you find new tricks, no reason to ruin your fun:)

Yeah I figured it would work pretty good and get lots of juice to the coils. Maybe even add a couple strands under the coil? Or would that be overkill? I like how you can adjust the rebuildable part so there is more room on the mouthpiece.. we'll be able to fit more wick/coil in there, not having to be completely all in the ceramic cup (that was an issue for me with Ody, if I ever wanted to have a bulky coil and wick, with 100% VG juice)
