My ready wires are made in a factory and I dont know the procedure Ali my friend. The only I know is that they use a welding automatic machine
Hi Imeo. I have noticed your ready wires are welded a little different than welding with those disposable camera flash welders. Can you explain how they are made? or what equipment is used? maybe a video or picture?

Anyone know anywhere else to get those ready wires? CoV doesn't seem to have them. I have a little welder coming but wanted to move to ready wires in the meantime... I'm finding myself changing my coils more often now, and I'm just getting frustrated twisting so many wires (especially now that I'm twisting 2 coils each time!)

The math isn't very complicated for me. I'm not posting $'s in to this post nor any quantities just the logical decision behind my purchases. Here goes.
3 years ago, I had smoked for 35 yrs, 2.5 PAD at the end.
I jumped into vaping with a 510 starter kit, then a 6 volt mod, next a VV, finally a GGTS. It took a year to try a GGTS. In that period of time I bought tons of attys & cartos until I bought an iAtty which led me to the following GG RBA's. I have acquired a few other premium mods that I am proud to own, but Imeos GG products made it all make a lot more sense. Being able to create my own atomizer coils and wicks, use different batteries or stacked batts, plus all the options Imeo has produced for his GG's. At this time I could stop buying GG stuff, and never have to buy another mod or atomizer.

So..buy just 1 GG & RBA and your set for life, if you buy more its because GG's really do give back more than they cost.

That is what happened to my wife and I. Cheap ego mods, crap vivi tanks, crap cartomizer tanks.. Then I found GG. I was lucky enough to get in 2 preorders for the next shipment of Ithakas and I am salivating at the chance to get a couple GGTS mods and Stealths when they hit clouds of vapor in a few weeks. I did get a ProVari that I am happy with but as far as tank/atty systems the best I've found are Kanger pro tanks, and those still aren't very good. I just lucked out and managed to start vaping when some GG products are becoming available through official resellers. I'm not taking any chances buying second hand or from an unofficial site.

That being said, I will NEVER buy a GG clone of any type. IMO it hurts Imeos bottom line and floods the market with inferior products. Patience is a virtue and all the money I am saving not smoking is easily paying for my GG products. Between the wife and I we were spending 800.00 a month on cigarettes. I can't wait to load my GGTS-Ithaka with Five Pawns Grandmaster...

Being a EE I have a very nice soldering iron. If I used a twist plus lead-free solder would that be a good joining technique? I also have a special crimping device that may secure the twist with no solder. (The crimping device is actually for WBT audio connections). The thing is heavy duty.

I would recommend crimping over soldering. Wire welders are very popular right now as well. There are issues with crimping though. Since the crimp beads are silver they have a lower melting point and are soft so they can break from a lot of hear ot to much pressure. I crimped for a long time but dound twisting (with tools) to only take slightly longer and are much mroe durable.

As for soldering I don't think anyone other then Para has actually come out and said they did it. He did it a long time ago for iAtty but I don't know he kept at it I just know he said he had done it so it was possible

Ohh details? My buddy has tons of mesh! (He's a genesis style guy)

Anything in particular I need to know about doing this rebuild?

Here is one for the vivi nova very similar but you would need much less length.
Vivi Nova SS Wick tutorial - YouTube

here is a video on a silica rebuild on a BCC which basically uses the same head ads the pro tank (I think the only difference is the tube length) rebuild starts at 12 min.
eVod MT BCC - review & rebuild - YouTube

Not quite exactly what you want but the procedures are super close.

also, i have a post about it. very simple, i just followed pbusardos evod rebuild video, subbed out mesh instead of silica, and obviously checked for hot spots. it works best if you check to make sure you trap the wires in a way that pulls them towards the wick instead of pushing them towards the outer walls of the bottom of the head.

also, where are we at on those ithaka preorders? im glad i picked up a terminator c to hold me over during the wait, it only makes me more and more excited for the real thing
