My first time with GJ, and it's pretty good, but it doesn't make my top 5 so far. I can barely taste the banana, and I can taste the tobacco too much. Don't get me wrong, it's good, just not OMG! good. Maybe I didn't let it steep long enough (2 days, yeah, I was impatient :)). I'll probably get the extra flavor shot next time if it doesn't get better with a little more age.

BUT at 100% VG it vapes just fine in the BC. Hard to fill the syringe is all. I have a bigger needle around here somewhere, probably use that to fill the syringe and then switch back to the smaller needle.

I'm with you on that one..I find the Banana lacking, and cant really tell the difference between Gorilla and Boba's. The Hype is great, but I'll just keep vaping the Boba's..All three vape fine in the BC Phoenix's, and the Vivi Nova's...

So I tried the earlier recommendation of pulling out the plunger and filling the syringe first. That part worked like a charm. Put the plunger back in, turned it upside down and carefully pushed the excess air out. Attached the needle that I had already inserted into the Phoenix, pushed the plunger.... and juice squirted out the back end of the syringe. As the tube started filling it stopped coming out of the back of the syringe, and I was able to fill it up, but I lost maybe a 1/4 ml of juice. I'm not sure how that happened or what I did wrong, but I'm a gonna stick to using 2 needles.

Finally used my other phoenix 3ml bc today...this one has 4 airholes, the sleeveless version? Odd the cover fits better, no sliding like before on my sleeved version. Too airy with 4 holes and taped a hole and put cover on...it's sooooo good. Wish they had replacements for this. My back up has 4 holes as well....ready for camping soon.

That's method is the least messy for filling all my cartos but seems reasonable that it isn't going to work for everyone, best to stay with what works for you.

In the past two weeks I ordered and received two 3ml tanks and a pack of 1ml's. One of the 3ml's leaks so I took it apart yesterday to see if I could get the metal cylinder to seat better. Still leaking....any ideas?
Also out of the 5, 1ml's I gave two to a friend so I have three left. Saturday I had an 8 hour drive and filled a good 3ml and one, 1ml. About half the time I was getting a burnt hit on the 1ml. I've not tried the other ones yet. Is the juice not getting into the 1ml causing the frequent burnt taste? It would seem so as it doesn't do that familiar crackling sound too much. Anything I can do to the leaker and the burnt taste ones?:glare:

As far as leaking, if you are sure you are filling it correctly you may try trimming the wicks with nail clippers. I have had to do this on some of my Phoenix. You may be getting a burnt taste because the coil is not aligned properly. The Phoenix is my main vaping apparatus. It's fantastic. The only problem I have with some of them is in the placement of the coil and wick which is easily fixed. I believe it is a factory QA issue. I hope this helps.

I just have one complaint about the 1.5ml XL.

What the heck am I supposed to do with all these nasty rubber drip tips I'm accumulating? Does anybody actually use these things? I can't quite bring myself to throw them away, even though that's what they deserve. :)

That's all.

Are you talking about the rubber plug you pull out to fill it? If so throw it away and use a drip tip of your choice. If none of the above, ignore my comments. :)

If you're talking about the black one that comes with the bc's.......I totally agree. love the drip tip that comes with the vivis, but the rubbery one that comes with phx bc's I can't deal with. It's very similar to the whistle tip ones that came on some emdcc's I got when I first ordered vaping stuff, and I have some sort of reaction to it. Had to put tape over the emdcc's just to vape them, til I could get something else ordered and in.

I had one leak on me also. My theory is the fill hole not "Self Healing" properly
On the XL Phoenix's, the fill hole is very, very small, and on the 3ml, it seems a tad larger, and when initially puctured, may not be sealing itself. I ordered some replacements from Danno, and the next time I fill it, I'm going to use a SHARP needle to make the initial puncture, then a blunt on refills...

Just my theory, anyway...

So I just got my Phoenix btm coil tank with the sleeve and cap. Filled it fine upside down, no leaking... great. Screwed it on an ego twist, and it won't fire. Took it off checked the ego with a stardust, fires no problem. Tried it my other twist, and it just won't fire. Any ideas or is this just DOA?

Going to put a ticket in but figured I see if anyone here knew of something that might cause this.

EDIT: Needed to pull the post on my ego a lot and it now fires.

Haven't tried the mini yet. But I love the big vivi, just got a new one in the mail today. :)

Kinda run your fingernail over the bottom and make sure that the connector part sticks out just a tad. Could be it's just not making a connection. I haven't had this issues so not sure if you can "pull the pin" on these like you do with a stardust sometimes. I'm sure someone else will chime in on that. Does the twist have a safety function that it won't fire if it's not set to an acceptable voltage for the ohm atty you're using? That's the case with some vv's but not sure about the twist.
