How can this...

Be better than this...

To experience the first, you just need (lots of) money. To experience the second, you need lots of money, lots more money for mods, lots of mechanical skill, LOTS of technical knowledge in the genre, lots of time to assemble it, lots more time for maintenance, lots of friends to help you, etc.

But at the end of the day, what's the difference, really? Artistry? Pride in having built it yourself? Ok, but some folks simply aren't interested in those things. Some people prefer to be connoisseurs, not creators. That's fine.

The market is there, and it's being filled. I think that, beyond performance or specs or anything else tangible, just the very idea of 'turn key' clouds from an Atlantis sitting on a CF sub-ohm battery is going to create a lot of .... hurt in the cloud chasing sub culture. Now it's available to anyone with money.

Is that a good thing? IMAO, more options is always better, so yes!

The only problem with your analogy is that this stuff is all cheap none of its expensive except for the overpriced mods and tanks but the Atlantis is just as cheap as rebuilding I get what your saying with the knowledge and time but if you had money to smoke you have money to buy whatever you choose rebuildables or the pre built so leave the cost out of it lol

Really they have it for 30 bucks. Daaamn. I kinda like my kayfun but not enough clouds bro! Lol. Seems everyones a cloudchaser these days. I bet the atlantis puts out more then a kayfun. By grimms review I would say it does for sure. Grabbing two, no one, will wait for 5+ml version

Definitely more clouds then any stock kayfun. with the right build in a modded kayfun could blow more clouds bro

Are there any mods you would recommend to a novice like me? I plan on ordering my Atlantis next week after i see some more reviews and the hype storm settles down a bit, but i dont know too much when it comes to Mods for sub-ohm vaping.

I've been recommended the Dna40 however that seem like too much money for features i cant even use.

whats a good pre-built VW mod that can hit 40W for this Atlantis?

thanks for the recommendations. However i feel like im not really going to need anything that goes past 50watts for the Atlantis. and usually more watts = more $$$

On that Dna40 box or the IPV2, how easy is it to change batteries? I wouldn't mind trying a box mod for the first time, however i dont want to have to unscrew something every time i want to change the battery :< Or can i charge the battery while its in the box?

Uh crystalsoul, the 100w sigeli is cheaper then the VS DNA. And the battery door has a strrrrong magnet so u can take out the screw and simply operate the battery door with the magnet. Its about the same as the IPV2 I think. But I like my 100w, its my favroite mod I own. I got Provaris DNA 30/40 box mod.

Don't quote me
:p
I believe Aspire will be releasing nickel replacement coils
Where did you hear that? that would be awesome to be able to use the DNA 40's temp control on the Atlantis.

Oh really? thats nice, in that case i will consider it if the magnet is strong like you say.

i really will consider that Sigeli though because im so used to the cylindrical design on my mods :vapor:

I had to restock on juice this week, but next week the Atlantis shall sit atop my ipv 2s plus and be a crankin'!!!!!

Always makes me happy to see the IPV2s get a mention - people don't seem to know it's out there. I love the bump in wattage and the improved design. I just can't see myself needing the power of the IPV3, and while I know the single 18650 limits the battery life a touch, I like the smaller form factor.

How does one know when it's time to change a coil in something like this? I got into rebuilding pretty quickly, and gave all my clearomizers away before it ever became an issue or something I was familiar with.

(Sorry for the echo - I asked this question earlier, but it was at the end of a post, and I think it got lost in the discussion).
