Have them practice what you need to do if the Woodvil you have in your cart is no longer available. You would need to remove it from your cart and then update your cart. Then go and find another.

I have had three in my cart and try to check out. The process halts. One needs to be removed. While removing it and updating the another one says none in stock. Remove it and update.

Now what to do? Go ahead and get the one? Or go back and try to get one or two more then check out?

It is the decisions on what to do that make buying a Woodvil so much fun!

I have been through probably 6 sale nights of first released REO's and wood REO's. Every one a challenge that had my heart racing and adrenalin pumping!

This coming sale night will test the nerves of all involved!

i think i'm in hell, now :(

It is not so bad Dennis. There will be plenty and I am sure you will grab at least one! It does take patience when the site is slow.

There was one sale that I checked out with three REO orders. It only took a few minutes!

You have shown you are quick on the keyboard. It will all work out fine!

Hehe - No worries, you'll get one. Maybe not your first pick, mind, but that is part of the fun.

You can train selecting REOs. Just look up the thread of the last sale, look at the pics Rob put up just to tease us. Then imagine having _weeks_ to drool over choices: "Hey, I want that there Cocobolo!" - next morning - "This new Koa stuff looks even better!" - during lunch break - "what's that new stabilized stuff? Nah, I want the Cocobolo". For weeks! Then comes a new set of pics...

And finally you'll end up with something like Curly Oak - and you still love it =)

As for the program, well, instead of java, use some bash scripting and some curl, that way you get the timeouts out of the equation with just bit of configuration ^^

I think some of the people talking (whining) about set limits on sale night need to realize how it really works.

First of all if you think you going to even get two you drastically decrease your chances of even getting one (that you want).

No one is going to swoop in and grab 5 or 10 .... thats crazy it doesn't work that way. Veterans of sale night know what I'm talking about. The things in you cart can get sold before you check out ..... then you must take the time to go back and edit your cart. While you are doing that the other one you have selected will probably be sold out from under you as well.

Experienced REO sale nighters know its best to buy one at a time .... check out and repeat the whole process if you are after more than one.

So if someone is able to get 2 or 3 or more before you can even get one you are doing something wrong.

So no more whining please everyone has the same shot at getting as many as they can or want ........
Really how could it be more fair ??

You bring up a good point! Once they get the speed down, I will fine tune them to handle out of stocks. Maybe if I am successful and lucky, I can trade one or two of them for a stabilized mod since Rob isn't making any anytime soon......

Heck, I would probably trade two of my grands for a stabilized woodvill right now......

I wouldn't trade mine even for 10 other REOS and I'm not even a wood lover :p

Sent while Hyper Vapin a Trippy tipped Reo

As long as you leave any old rough mini for HRH, we're cool! I have no intention of logging in before i get home from work anyway, apart from to crash CVS and Walgreens, so that all that adrenaline waiting for the start time will be unmedicated!

It's much easier to break something than code it!
