Just curious: When pictures go up on the REOS Mods site of all of the finished products, and the sale date is set, will this thread become:
1) Angry Postal Workers vs. Terrorist Activities
2) a Ghost Town
3) An Epidemic all It's Own

A look back in the past might answer that question for you! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/288438-vv-reos-part-iv.html

These thread will attract many more as time gets closer. Those who have looked without posting suddenly have to jump in and make their presence known.

The Woodvil's shinning like diamonds draw us like a moth to a flame. Hearts pump faster as we plan our moves through the site in fevered anticipation of the sale.

United we are an unstoppable mass in our quest for the gold, our woods our trophy.

I tend to get just a little possessed when it comes to wood REO's! ;)

I haven't looked back at that thread in a real long time. It's filled with some great memories. It's also a reminder of old friends that are no longer around like both Dave's. I hope I won't have to be one but if I am I will leave a few people very happy.....promise. ;)

So if Black Palm is prone to chipping, does that mean it's more prone to cracking if dropped than say Ebony?
Karen what's your thoughts on your Black Palm, is it a garage queen?

The Black Palm is exquisite! The texture and depth of the grain is remarkable.

Would I get a Black Palm body REO? I am not sure. Having just the door I don't worry too much. It is pretty well protected in knock over falls.

The whole Black Palm body is kind of scary. I would really feel it needed to be protected from any falls.

Maybe because of the depth of the grain it makes me feel the wood is a bit weaker and would break a little easier.

Ebony is a very tough wood. For sure I would say it beats out Black Palm in a torture test!

So are the 18650's still going to use the big black horn button, or is there something like the smaller brass ringed button that goes on the mini and 18490 that may end up making a connection:)?

I believe the 18490 buttons are going to be the same as the last run of Woodvil 18490. These buttons are wicked reliable.

It reminds me of this beauty from the VV run, with a white teak door.

I can't say for sure since it has been over a year ago but that block may have looked like THIS before he sanded it. That one ended up looking like THIS. No matter how it turns out I'm sure to love it. :)
