The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Fine by me that it went that way. Since I was late to the game, I was able to get one of those beauties. C'mon somebody snag that last little guy. I can't do it, unless I WANT to have to build an igloo outside to live in for a while. Paying the utility bill this month is more important to my family for some reason :laugh:.

Put a sweater on

Might be all I need. We've had an historical 49 days straight of subzero (-18 Celsius and colder) temps this winter so far. Supposed to be 27 (-3C for you Canucks, eh?) later this week. I might be able to break out the shorts for the Reo delivery, lol!

Don't let Justice get your goat. Check out his location. :D He and I live in the not-really-like-Canada part of Canada (although we did get a skiff of snow last night).

I don't know about him, but I've never even seen an igloo, let alone an ice fishing shanty (although I have seen Grumpy Old Men).

LOL, I wish! No camping by the mailbox for me (see below ). Although I will be perched on the sofa staring out the front window on delivery day!

Well i'm a lucky bum! My mailbox is downstairs in the building, so i'll be there at noon sharp with a new pen, hot coffee, slippers on my feet
and a pounding heart.

Also a very sharp knife to open the boxes as soon as they're in my sweaty hands...

Oh, I know. Green Bay is FAR closer to the reality of the "Great White North" than Vancouver is. It's like "Canada-Light" there, lol! Wisconsin is "Hard Core" during the winter (and half of fall and spring, heck, 6-7 months of the year), for reals!;)

Of course, the folks in AZ, CA, and so forth are laughing at us both.

Although *we* know how awesome our home states/provinces are, weather and all. Yes, all the lovely southerners and southwesterners of Reoville see is an argument over who has the "better" of the SH!^$&-est winter weather :D. And FYI, Grumpy Old Men is set in Minnesota, but Wisconsinites look and act like that, too. Winter is a lifestyle . I, although born and bred in the "frozen tundra," detest cold and snow. Inside is my favorite weather!

Oh, c'mon USPS, bring me my woodies to console me and warm my frozen, winter soul!

Nope, not laughing. Last night in GF, Montana with the wind chill it was -30 ( or so a buddy said) I remember those days all too well. Guess what? I would go back there in a heartbeat if I could and I HATE cold :) I miss Montana very much. The people, the small town etc etc. Nothing like it IMO.

I am not laughing! Rather thinking that the little bit of rain that caused such a mess is what is funny. We are in no way prepared for any weather at all, so when we get it we simply do not have the infrastructure to handle it. We would be useless in climates like yours!
