I don't see any grease points on my truck's drive joints. I get the feeling it will be one of those things where the drive shaft falls off and I'll look and say, "Oh, that's where they are".I recently crawled under the truck to grease the drive shat U-bolts. I gave everything a good lookover, same reason. At seventy-three, that is not a tip-toe through the tulips.
True. I can get to a lot of things without jacking up the truck.. Some I can't so I have to haul out the jack and stands. Always makes the job longer. Replaced the fuel pump the other day. Had to de-bolt the bed and jack up the bed. That was interesting. Found 3 of the 8 bolts holding the bed to the frame were missing. From the looks of it, they were never there from Day 1.Better a truck than a compact car! I can still wriggle at 67, but I hate to squeeze under a low clearance compact car.

I don't know if they have grease points anymore. I never see it mentioned in the service intervals in the manuals.
My truck is 25 years old. Thought they had grease points for everything back then. Maybe not.I don't know if they have grease points anymore. I never see it mentioned in the service intervals in the manuals.
Yepper. They must want you to replace them instead. More profit for the parts department if it's a dealer only item.
Toyota Tacoma 4x4, it has five zerks and a couple are kind of hard to find but I do it every second change, around 15,000 miles.I don't know if they have grease points anymore. I never see it mentioned in the service intervals in the manuals.

What do you have? Hamster wheels?Actually, come to think about it, our vehicle doesn't have a drive shaft, and it's been awhile since I've had a vehicle that did.
It's working great. I've mostly vaped it in power mode. I switched over to TC mode for a while and it works there, too. First time it burps I'll take it apart and try the star washer fix. I'd like to see the intermittent issue before I go inside it. I was taught early on in my technical career, "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It".
Welp, I'm here during tiny breaks form computer woes, and due to this ultra minuscule screen, I think I'd better hit the Ctrl + keys. I read your words as the Star Wars fix.
Do keep us posted, please, DaveP. (on the Nano adventure)

So, is USPS before or after Customs?

Is yours doing something strange? I need someone to tell me how to set it up where I'll see the problem.
Since most all the issues people have posted about in other forums were in TC mode I might not see it unless I actually use TC mode. I'm mostly a 10W power mode guy. If you can help me create a scenario where weird stuff happens, that would help tremendously. If I go in and add star washers and never had the problem before doing that I might think I've fixed it, but mine just happened to be one of the "good" ones.
I'm waiting for something screwy to happen before I dive in. I'm not sure how to make it happen, though. I might have to do some web crawling in the ecig forums and see what I can dig up. On the full size Hcigar DNA75's people say the Cathode screw gets loose and tightening it will fix it until it gets loose again. That could be fixed with a drop of Loctite.
The Nano does have the problem. There are forum posts about TC mode readings going up and down, followed by some crazy messages in the LCD display.
Looks like I need to start using TC Mode exclusively before I'll see the problem. I obviously haven't stressed it properly to make it happen.
