If they run away, they don't get it, and never will. :)

I was unaware of this thread. Looks like there are 2 forums I can hang in.

Look up a couple of posts...I popped a video in for you. I've found opening two or three ECF tabs at a time works pretty efficiently at keeping the music going and being able to work the other sub forums at the same time...

Please feel free to post your favorite video's, music, stories (especially yours!), pics, poems links etc...heck we even help out with vaping. It's the lounge so the rules are a little looser I guess.

It tends to get pretty Widespread Panic heavy during their concerts though...just a warning :p

Man grover, you're gonna give Shaneguide wood with that Springfield!

A little history about myself. I grew up in the 60's in LA. I was extremely fortunate to have had Sunset Blvd just down the street from me. On the weekends, there were 4 of us that headed to Sunset to see who was playing in the clubs. Some nights we all went to the same club, other times we split up to see different bands. A few examples: I had the privilege to see The Doors as the house band at the Whiskey over a dozen times, before Chicago became the house band, Pink Floyd at the Ash Grove, and the list goes on & on. I pretty much followed the Springfield all over Southern California, to me, they were one of the best live bands I ever saw. Someday we'll chat about different things that may be of interest to you hippies.

Remember now, when we were seeing these bands, most of them had just released their first album or about to release an album. When we saw Floyd it was just the four of them, Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters & Richard Wright. They had just released The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Most of the bands were, believe it or not, opening acts for other bands.

Example: I was embarrassed standing in line at the Whiskey to buy tickets for a Friday & Saturday shows at the Whiskey headlined by The Strawberry Alarm Clock. They were a bubble gum band and the people in line with us must have been around 14 years old. The opening act was some band called Cream.
