Family never really "made" it in the States. But I enjoyed them. Their bass player, Ric Grech, later played with Blind Faith.
Hahaha...that's awesome! Love when you run into someone and realize you saw the same show! I also love love love relistening to shows that I've been to! Especially since I scream loud and sometimes when others might not... love hearing me on a bootleg lol... man... I need to get to a show soon.

A little history about myself. I grew up in the 60's in LA. I was extremely fortunate to have had Sunset Blvd just down the street from me. On the weekends, there were 4 of us that headed to Sunset to see who was playing in the clubs. Some nights we all went to the same club, other times we split up to see different bands. A few examples: I had the privilege to see The Doors as the house band at the Whiskey over a dozen times, before Chicago became the house band, Pink Floyd at the Ash Grove, and the list goes on & on. I pretty much followed the Springfield all over Southern California, to me, they were one of the best live bands I ever saw. Someday we'll chat about different things that may be of interest to you hippies.
