All I can say on this thread is wow. Most of the consumers of the US has not even recovered from the economy or even gas prices! Right now people want to donate to help out but lack funding to do so. My family lives paycheck to paycheck, so if some of the money that I am spending somewhere goes to charity, then it is a win-win situation for me. I get the stuff I need, and so does the charity.

It's not like I have somewhere between $100 - $700 in my back pocket to help. If I did, it would be going for my family.

It really depresses me to see the kind of hatred that some have shown on the forum.

I agree. It would seem like it's no longer a debate on the ethics of the practices of an e-cigarette company and turned into a 'get the final word' battle. Look, everyone thinks differently. Let's remember that in times like these, when a crisis arises, we shouldn't be divided. Truly we are blessed to be able to even have a digital conversation like this. Instead of bickering at one another, let's collaborate that energy and work together for a better future.

P.s. if you need someone to argue with, the FDA is a good place to start ;)

All I can say is that I am not doing great financially right now myself. I’ve had my hours cut and of course the bills never stop coming in. I’m not complaining because I know many people are out of work in America.

But when I see the complete and utter devastation that has occurred in some areas of Japan caused by the Tsunami it makes my situation pale in comparison. Complete town destroyed and under 10 feet of rubble. Family with missing husbands, wives and children. No electricity. No Food or Water and No place to go.

Like I said, I’m about broke myself and one paycheck away from having something turned off or repo-ed. But I have a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in tonight.

So I gave $25 to the American Red Cross. It’s all I could afford and it came straight out of the grocery money for the month. The Red Cross is the Only agency I trust because I know a little about them.

I don’t pray much. My belief is that God doesn’t grant prayers. We make our own destiny thru our actions. But I prayed for the people of Japan who have had so much taken from them and so little means to recover anything.

This is NOT the forum that I viewed when I first started vaping. The forum I first viewed would have applauded a vendor (any vendor or person) who was going to donate to a worthy cause.

How about if they don't have a sale and just donate 10% of the profits to Japan? What would the difference be (besides 10%)??
There is no way FSUSA would be offering this sale and the donations with only profits in mind... no way!!!

Sad when someone trying to help his/her fellow man gets kicked in the teeth for trying to help.

Just my opinion.

Don't worry, Maxy. Not everyone is like that--just a couple of people with an axe to grind.

What a great post. Too damn bad the trolls here on ECF who love kicking the hornet's nest, don't exhibit the humanity and compassion that you do. If I can ever be of assistance to you, just shoot me a PM. Thanks for your contribution to the discussion.
