I would go with the advice of the chunkmeister ...this guy has become my vape guru and has led me through all the options of batteries and making my own juice...and has started to mod his own Cartomizers...and posted his vidoes on youtube ..as im no good at DIY i might get my begging knees and ask him to make me a couple :)
Keep a eye on this guy on youtube i bet there will be more to come in the future.

Get away! I'm no guru - I just like to get stuck into a topic / pasttime when I start. It just takes a lot of reading here.
I've just posted my first video - I now feel pressured to make another - ya git! :)

I just want to know what a Tgo is? The OP mentioned it everytime he mentioned ego. I have an eGo, Kgo, Echo, Go-Go and Vgo but must find a Tgo to complete my collection. There probably is one but I've never heard of it.

The tGo is another eGo clone. I haven't seen one in a couple years, but I'm sure they still sell them somewhere. You can probably find one at one of the Chinese knockoff sites.

I still wonder why its not talked about much here. I think its an awesome product.
Probably because it is so new, and because Johnson Creek does not have a presence here on this forum.

Interestly, last week I listened to an interview with Jason Healy of Blu Cigs and his opinion about VV is that if the hardware and cartomizer are, basically, matched, then VV shouldn't be necessary.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was wrong about that.

Every flavor of juice has a different sweet spot in terms of wattage...
And every vapor may well have a different preference for where they think that sweet spot is.

Not to mention the fact that every vapor has different preferences for length of drag...
And how cool or warm they want their vapor to be.

The assumption that one device, with one voltage and one resistance, can satisfy everyone seems absurd.
I suppose they could make a different device combination for each juice they produce, but I don't see that happening.

I agree with virtually everything you've said here. JC is a fine company from all reports. I have nothing whatever against them. In fact, I think they'd be upset to hear their product being misrepresented by the O.P.

I don't have a problem with the Vea either. It likely does have less a voltage dropoff than a kGo. The Vea probably has no dropoff at all. That's the nature of a regulated system, although I doubt the OP could have explained that. A kGo is unregulated. It will start about 4.2V and drop from there. Most eGos, and some clones like the Vea, have a regulated output. They start and stop at the same 3.4V. Naturally, there will be no drop off. But, the battery life is no better because of it. It's simply a matter of how the power is distributed. I would charge my kGo long before it ever dropped to the 3.4V that the eGo or Vea start and end at. Or, I would switch to a lower resistance carto during the last few hours when I detected a drop in voltage. Regulated voltage is strictly personal preference and has nothing to do with overall useable battery life. It certainly doesn't make one battery last 5 times longer than another.

Again, my problem is not with JC or the Vea. My problem is with a poseur who comes here claiming to have the experience and knowledge necessary to be considered a credible source of information while making wild and spectacular claims about what is likely a good, but certainly not spectacular, product. Meanwhile, the poseur makes several comments that belie his inexperience and lack of knowledge. Unfortunately, they are only really obvious to people who know better and not so obvious to newbies who are apt to be taken in by them.

I don't even have a problem with affiliates. I don't even have a problem with a reviewer who earned his chops before he became an affiliate. I have a problem with affiliates who claim objectivity without being so successful at affiliate marketing that they can afford to be objective. I have a problem with affiliates who don't possess the knowledge and experience to be objective even if they wanted to. I don't think the OP is dependent enough on affiliate sales to be intentionally misrepresenting a product. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt about that. I think he's simply inexperienced, lacking in technical knowledge regarding e-cigs and unaware of the extent of what he doesn't know.

The sad thing to all this is that there are aspects of the Vea that are worthy of discussion. It's too bad that exagerated claims got in the way of having that discussion.

I actually found their cartomizer design more interesting than the battery and would have liked to see some feedback from some of the more experienced people here on that.

Things that are different about the cartomizer than the boge's I normally vape are:
1) it has a horizontal coil. I know that other carto's have this like the Volt cartos, but I don't seem to see this often. I would have liked to have heard some pros and cons to that.
2) It is a bit longer than the boge's I normally vape
3) it's center tube is a slightly larger diameter and they claim it is thicker. (not sure about this)
4) the cap is removable with your fingers for ease of topping it off
5) the cap's hole sticks down and goes inside the center tube of the carto. The hole in effect becomes an extension of the center tube.

I'm not sure if there is another cartomizer like this, or if it is indeed a unique design. If it is unique, it deserves discussion. If it is not unique, I'd like to know who sells them so that I can try it out.

I'm pretty sure you're right about that. That has to be one of the most ignorant statements I've ever heard outside of the FDA. It just goes to show you the level of incompetence that some, presumably highly paid, executives operate at.

I guess the next thing we'll be hearing is that if just the right amount of gin and vermouth is used, bartenders won't be necessary and you can just bottle up the perfect martini and sell it like so much soda pop.

That statement is rather apt coming from Blu though. If anyone knows how to excel at selling mediocrity, it's the people who run Blu.

Unique I have my doubts, possibly made to JC's specifications is not beyond belief....:)

1) Kanger makes various horizontal coil cartos, including a horizontal dual coil.
Pros - likely to burn the fller, cooler vape, less throat hit, better flavor
Cons - cooler vape, less throat hit (depends what you like :))

2) Kanger makes XL cartos

3) Never tried them, can't compare

4) I put a drip tip on all my cartos, very easy removal

5) Not sure what this is supposed to accomplish,
personally I don't like anything proprietary even a drip-tip...

This made me laugh.
If BT says it's the perfect blend who are we to argue!
Just limit us all to this one flavor of this magical perfect blend matched to this perfect device and we're all happy....right?

Just kidding of course.

There's a term for this in marketing, the name of which escapes me ATM. Joyetech does it all the time as well.
When your product is just like a million other products, you make changes to it that don't necessarily do anything but make your product identifiable as different than anyone elses. Then you tout those distinctions as some sort of improvement and hope people buy it, even though the changes you made may, in fact, make your product worse.

They call it "product distinction" or "product delineation" or "market differentiation" or some such technical term.

Joye did it with their 510-T, eGo-T and ego-C models. There was nothing obvious to distinguish them from all of the clones. So, they hung a crappy performing tank system on them and tried to pawn it off as a revolutionary and exclusive feature. Although, all but the uninitiated knew it was just an attempt to give a facelift to the obsolete atomizer/cartridge system by renaming the cartridge as a "tank" and/or hiding the atomizer in a cone.

From what I've seen, it appears that most, if not all, the so-called improvements of the Vea are along similar lines. Their benefits are marginal or non-existent, but they sound good in ad copy and they serve to distinguish the Lea from the garden variety clones.

As long as it is Bombay Sapphire, dry, with a twist of lemon...

Likely your problem is that JC liquids are 100% VG-based, which paper-filler cartos don't like. VG is of too thick a viscosity, gunks up that sort of carto quickly.

While I may not personally care for their juice they do have some that is 100% pg as well as their ones that are 100% vg

I guess it depends on your definition of the normal vaper is, don't you think? I wouldn't assume that the normal, "Hey I have a Life" vaper is going to vape 24/7, and will more than likely use theirs as they would normal cigarettes. I don't people here, people that spend time in an eCig forum, or run an eCig publication, can be considered normal vapers.

that fact this works for you is great for you, you asked in your original post tho why this is under represented so people told you, then you go on later to say the people here aren't "normal" vapers. If we aren't why do you care what anyone here has to say. As to the "Hey I have a Life" comment, if we didn't have lives and could spend every waking moment of every day at our computers, why would we need batteries that lasted as we could just use a pass through.

Maybe it would be a good idea to put some thought into saying what you want to say without insulting the entire forum.

A friend of mine got a Vea a few weeks ago and let me try it. Granted, it is no where near my Provari, and other similar sized PVs usually cost less, it provided a pretty good vape. I liked how the tube in the Vea cartos was so much larger than normal cartos and the USB passthrough on the battery was really cool. Personally, I'd go with something a little less expensive but it wasn't bad.
I think the reason it's not mentioned very much here on ECF is because it's still kinda new and most people only know about what they use so that's what they talk about.

Mine was just a bottle of Beefeaters, and forget all the rest.
Found out I was allergic to it tho, it kept making me brake out in spots!
like Denver, Portland, LA, ------

Mine was made in someboy's bathtub in Tenessee, couldn't see for a week, but they told me I liked it. :)

Well this thread certainly spiced up a boring Sunday. I'm still waiting on the OP to return and tell us all that we're wrong - again...

As am I. I rarely read thru 5 pages but I did on this one. Sailorman is the man, how could you even begin to dispute what he has said, I predict the OP disappears with no reply.
