I too do not have a tank and have been following this thread trying to get one.
Although I have never actively participated in posting in the thread here, I am and have been anxiously awaiting my turn at snagging a tank.
I have understood there are no pre orders, so my question is how will this list work? Will no more tanks be posted here on the thread for purchase? Does ones name have to be on the "list" to obtain one?
Please add my name to this list. I am not sure how fair have a list is when there are no pre orders.. but this is just my opinion

Keep your eyes on the thread....The next batch wil be up for sale soon....Not sure excatly when but it looks like towards the end of the week. When the next batch is posted PM JonboyUSMC with your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice just in case the stck runs low. There should be a lot available next week so you should be ok. Just pay attention and try to be quick.

Tanks will be posted on this thread when they are ready for sale. When is the question we'd all like to know the answer to. You just need to keep an eye on the thread. The next run is supposed to be a large one.

The "Not so Fortunate List" was completed yesterday. I don't think anyone will be added to it today. I think it was a one of a kind thing.

If anyone has trouble resizing, or hosting/posting your pics for the contest; shoot me a pm. I can't access most of the photo-hosting sites from work, but when I get home later I'll try to get a list up of free sites and/or links that you can upload your pics to for linking them here.

Minx, there will be more tanks available for sale so hang in there. I would like to have one of every color, but will step back and let all of the people that do not have one yet have a chance. When I first saw these Lava Tanks, some of them were available for almost three weeks. They are now like some of the mods I've seen.........be quick or be without. But like other things, eventually everyone will be able to get his/her hands on as many as they want.

I'm not going to try to get any this coming week....I didn't try to get any last week also. I'm gonna let the newcomers try to get in on this weeks batch. I got all my tanks in the first and second batch....they really weren't selling that aggressivly. I think they'll be enough to go around. Might I suggest that if your gonna buy tanks....Buy only 1 or 2....That way evryone can get in on it. And then later if there's leftover stock....grab a few more. Keep in mind....there will always be more to come....I Hope.

But yeah, why not enter? Find a good spot, take a pic, and give it a caption. I've already got a couple in mind (as long as Strpr is ok with more than one entry per person?? Strpr?)

Okay everyone, it's contest time. Here are your instructions. The judges for this contest are:

Tasiamay
Grammie
Strprswpr

The contest starts NOW and will be over Friday, 8-26 at 9pm sharp. After the contest the three judges will compare notes and the winner will be announced Saturday, 8-27 at 9pm sharp....Hopoefully that will coincide with the next batch released.

Each entry will consist of two parts-
A Caption that starts with "My PV goes", to be completed by the participant.
A picture to match the caption that includes a PV of any type.

Possible examples:

-My PV goes to work with me - accompanied by a picture of your PV near the assembly line you work at, on a serving tray at your restaurant, or if you work in a dentist office, take a pic of it on the tray with some dental tools.
-My PV goes to the pool with me - take a pic of it near the water beside the suntan oil.
-My PV goes on vacation with me - take a pic of it near your campfire, or at Disney, or wherever you go.

Entries are encouraged to be creative, funny, witty, etc.... An entry titled My PV goes to my computer desk and a picture will be considered a valid entry, but, don't expect to get points for creativity if you don't even get out of your chair. Our PV's go everywhere with us, so think of some of the places you go that would be a great backround for your picture. You don't have to go far - I could think of a dozen places I could take a funny pic of my PV at my local grocery store, hardware store, post office, etc....
Also, please post pictures that are in focus and large enough to view on a computer monitor. Cel phone pics are fine, but if they're blurry and the same size as your avatar, we won't use a magnifying glass to judge your pic. If you need help posting pics or need help with resizing them if they're too big, just ask and someone will try to help you out.

That's it - grab your camera, get out and get creative! Post as many pics as you want.

Remember, the prize will be a new Jonboy Lava Tank....Jon will pick the tank....YOU WILL NOT HAVE A CHOICE....I'm sure we all would be happy with whatever he picks.
