what's up with these bad cartos? I haven't really been following...
I bought some from stormys vapor cellar and good prophets when they had a sale/had them for cheap... I bought mostly the Boge 3.0.
I still haven't tried any of them since I still have about 7 left from another vendor
What should I be looking out for?
are they dangerous? or just annoying to use? (performance wise)

That's correct, makes no difference how you filled them or even flooded them, 1 hit and it tastes burnt. I've had a few but I still have a bunch more left. Hoping those are okay. I've wasted a lot of juice.
...bloody hell! THAT must have been what was wrong with my kona coffee milkshake. I think that's about the only juice I tried in those Boge 3.0s I ordered a bit ago... I guess I don't need to pitch that after all.
I wouldn't punch the cartos til I tried 'em first. Wasted too daggone much juice in the last 2 weeks.
are y'all punching 1 hole or 2? i currently punch them with 1 but seems to go dry quicker (i'm a chain vaper though)... i know punching 2 on reg Boges didn't work for me, but usually i always punch 2 on DCs...
I do 2 on nearly everything, but I can only vape VG stuff. Made the mistake of using my 50/50 juice earlier this week and my mouth is full of awful sores again...
Lava Tank users,,,Just a little something I've been doing that some of you may want to try, Instead of using a nail punch or punch like a nail punch,,, I have been using a large sewing needle to punch my holes in my carto's and making much smaller holes, 1-2 holes down low, the smaller holes seem to pull in the right amount of liquid into the carto and being smaller they draw the liquid into the carto better at a better rate then the normal bigger holes, do to air flow and draw. You may want to give this a try, my filler doesn't seem to sag as quickly because there not flooding, and also no burning, my cartos are lasting longer too using the needle and smaller holes.
I'm running a very thick juice and the needle hole is working very well, I also try to punch one of the holes on the side where the wire runs down inside the tube, not the outside wire but the inside wire, it's working very well.

sorry, i should clarify that i was referring to the Dual Coils shorties... on all my Boges, i only punch 1 hole since 2 seems to flood it for me. however, on the DCs, 1 hole seems to make the vape more dry so kinda figured 2 holes might help. 
btw, i received my package from Stormy and she completely replaced my whole previous order (even the ones i've already used and sent back) and gave me an extra box of cartos! that's pretty darn good customer service.
these are still marked 510D (unlike the ones i got from GP which were just marked 510); however the stickers and typeface they are marked on was very different from the previous one so i'm guessing this is a new batch. keeping fingers crossed!

aww man, I have only had one cancor sore one time in my life and its hurt like all get out. Ora-gel has a mouthwash that helps quite a bit and also helps to numb your mouth too. walmart carries and I guess prolly any drug store too....

My theory and I'm sticking to it Not big holes.....I use 70/30 liquids and toward more pg in the ratio I believe someone said the dc's were packed looser as far as the filling......I'm just using Boge's 2.0.
