Hey guys. I only ever do one hole. Every time, I do two they flood on me. Where are you placing the two holes?
Are you leaving the air bubble over the holes? If you flood it that way it takes ages to get the extra juice out without drawing even more in. Total PItA. That's the reason I punch both my holes on top of each other, Makes it easier to line up the air bubble.huh, I don't get it. Every time I try = flood. I have to be doing something wrong.
Doing 1 hole like the carto that comes with jonboy lava tank works well for me at 2.0ohm.
Have tried 2 holes slotted not punched and works just fine too.
It is much easier to do it that way, yes. I think you probably could fill it afterward, but you've got a much larger risk of flooding or dry burning that way because most of the normal filling techniques don't work.strp i have a ?..since ur the TANK KING....do u fill ur cartos b4 putting it in ur TANK?

thnx guys, also everyhow long do u guys change the carto?
I'm with ya there. One week max.I usually change em out once a week.......depends if you think the taste changed....It might depend on the juice too
Lava Tank users,,,Just a little something I've been doing that some of you may want to try, Instead of using a nail punch or punch like a nail punch,,, I have been using a large sewing needle to punch my holes in my carto's and making much smaller holes, 1-2 holes down low, the smaller holes seem to pull in the right amount of liquid into the carto and being smaller they draw the liquid into the carto better at a better rate then the normal bigger holes, do to air flow and draw. You may want to give this a try, my filler doesn't seem to sag as quickly because there not flooding, and also no burning, my cartos are lasting longer too using the needle and smaller holes.![]()
