But, I should stop complaining. Because, in today's horrible economy, I am truly blessed to have a secure job!

That's what I keep telling myself, too. And every day I find something to be thankful for. A secure job is huge. Take care of yourself, K.

I sure hope so capt. I am a state employee, and unfortunately for our pension you have to be 55 with 25 years of service to retire. Meaning, even if I have 25 years in before that I still have to stay. I shouldn't complain new hires now have to have 25 years and age 62.

Its like that where I work. (25/55) I have the 25 years but I'm only 47 so I'll have over 33 years when I'm 55.
