I'm sure interested. What kind of battery does it use? Please tell me where to send money. Is paypal the best way or just a check or credit card to you direct?

Linda,

This is a 510 threaded device... so it can be used on just about any device that takes 510 connections. Of course, it should be used on something with a bigger battery (not a Joye 510, for example).

JonBoy uses Paypal. You should send him a private message directly if you want to buy one!

Thanks for the info. I will see if I can find the IM thing. I haven't been on here in a while. So many new things. I have the old pen style. It gets tiresome having to drip more in every little while. Also the pen style batteries don't last very long. Do the lithium batteries last longer? I know they do in tools. I should probably get a whole new setup, but with so many newer choices I'm not sure what is best. Again thanks for your help.

Linda, I have two of Jonboy's tanks and really like them. I use them on a provari, which is a variable voltage pv that is very user friendly and great for finding the "sweet spot" on any ohm level atty, carto, or CE2. You can set the voltage on it from 3.3 to 6.0 volts. I set the voltage at 4.5 volts with my tanks and a 3.0 ohm CE2 and get alot of vapor and really good flavor. I'm sure there are other pv's out there that will do the same thing as the provari, but so far I think it's the best money I've spent.

You can check it out at ProVape Electronic Cigarette Battery Mods, Atomizers and E-Cigarette Accessories

Thanks for the info. So much as changed and I haven't kept up with all the new stuff. I guess I'm mechanically challenged, I don't get the ohms and amps things. I checked out the site you sent. it's a little pricey. When I first started I got a starter kit for the pen style pv. I got 2 batteries as well as the atty, charger and 5 pack of juice tips. It was less than $50. The provari sounds nice but, I'm not sure I can spend that much.

For something like this tank, you're going to want a bigger mod... look at it as an investment! Think about all the money you're saving from not buying cigarettes, that should help!

Provari is a pretty advanced variable voltage mod... I think you might be better off with a mechanical mod with a big battery... something like a Prodigy from puresmoker.com... or, if thats too big, they have the Icon which is it's little brother.

If you're on a budget and want something better than your pen style, check out the Riva from liberty-flights.com... that battery should last you all day! They have starter kits for $30 (click the 20% off at the top left of the screen)

The Riva is almost identical to the Joye Ego... which Im sure you've heard all about! PM me if you have any questions!

Just wanted to update that the lathe is now up and running finally!!! I'll be ordering some more materials and you should see a batch of tanks sometime next week. I'm debating on material selection, I may come back with something that's never been made yet. Also I will be coming out with a carto tank. I built a prototype and am absolutely loving this thing. Great flavor, vapor like a smoke stack and not a dry hit to be had.So far it seems to be pretty frugal on the juice usage too. As always I try to put a quality product out there. Sorry for the delay on getting tanks made, but I was starting to catch quite a bit of grief from my shop manager at work. I was making tanks my machines at work after hours, and it was starting to get my manager pretty PO'd. So I put up the money to purchase my own equipment, and life at work has been a lot easier. This also gives me the opportunity to experiment more. I'm really excited about this and ready to put out some high quality goodies!!!

Jon,
I bought one of your tanks from a frequent poster on this thread & I have to say it lives up to the hype in every way, shape & form. It was sent to me full. Not a drop spilled during shipping. I unpacked it, screwed it in & it blows my MAP tanks away! I can't wait to see what's coming down the pike! Thanks so much for your craftsmanship.
PS: I would like to know if you have any 2.5ml tubes. I'll PM you.

No PMUFS yet. Just something completely different I've had in my head for a while. The PMUFS require some mill work, and my mill needs to get an electronics retro-fit just like the lathe did. Fortunately the lathe and mill are twins, so this should go a little quicker. Then the PMUFS will get made. I'm looking into getting some design protection on it also, as I see almost every other ce2 tank out there now using my cap design.

would it be possible to have the tops and bottoms milled from the same material as the tube?

a completely clear CE2 Mod would be awesome. i made my own but all i got is a dremel and a few files.... my fingertips would thank you if you made them clear:thumbs:
