Ahh I see it now,,, well I only DIY with all organic flavorings from natures flavors for the most part, and buy ejuice on rare occasion these day, like mixing all my own better for the most part. Still like my Boba's Bounty and a couple others though

question for the gang: if your juice is too thin, would that cause it to leak out of the connector end of the carto? i'm using Virgin Vapors (which by the way taste great!) but it seems to me the juice might be too thin? if i don't attach the tank to a mod, it just pools out of the connector end...
It really shouldn't Snoopy, there isnt enough that should be getting in the center tube of the carto for it to leak, that's the only way a carto can really leak, maybe try blowing it out and then see what happens unless your just over loaded the carto
also, i'm guessing thin juices have a tendency to flood the carto and thereby make the draw a little stiffer, correct? the good news is that i'm not getting a mouthful of juice, but after switching from Pink Spot, i've started noticing these little weird things happening... of course i'm using that batch of cartos from Stormy that some folks seem to have problems with (not that i'm bringing that up again!).
i only put 10 drops in the carto (brand new) just to get it moist, so i'm pretty sure that wouldn't be the cause.

Hmm that's tricky now. or is the punched hole too big flooding the carto? I'm just listing the possiblities. Lol
Check your inner o-ring for a nic in it, could be damaged slightly Snoopy or worn
i'll check it next time, but to be clear, it's not leaking out from the side, but straight down in the middle inside the connector end...
Here's one for you guys and I'm going to wait till I get some feed back before I give my personal answer on this one. Do any of you get a different performance on your carto's depending if you poke your hole right where the heating wire runs down the side of the carto instead of the opposite side or further away from the wire ?
Hell, I never thought about that...Its something I'm surely going to try tho.. I just put the cart on the counter grab the hammer and a screw and get to pounding...

I never bought anything from them except the cartomizers alone,
so I am not sure.
There is also that disposable that they have, not sure the model of it though.
but it may have inferior cartos, since you only use it for a bit.

So up until a short while ago I was happy to order all of my 510 carto's from Crystal Clear Vaping. Never had a dud, flavor of juice was not hampered by material used in carto, life of carto's was excellent, etc. Then suddenly on my last order I get an entire box of DOA's and the second box (I ordered 2 boxes of 5 blank regular Boge 510 carto's, I do not care for the LR carto's at all) was just as bad. In the second box I filled one carto up with almost the last of my favorite e-juice flavor (was waiting to get the money on my pre-paid debit card so I could order more) screwed it into one of my Riva batteries, attempted to puff on it to get it started and hit a brick wall.
I tried again. Nothing. It was as if I was attempting to inhale with the condom cover still on the mouthpiece. So I unscrewed it and looked closely at the business end of this carto. The ventilation holes were drilled alright. Just not all the way through!!! Angrily I tossed the carto in the trash as I had just wasted a bunch of my precious e-juice on 2 back to back DOA's from the first box. (After the second DOA I decided to try one from the second box!) and now had wasted more on yet another defective carto.
At this point I SERIOUSLY needed my nic fix and grabbed yet ANOTHER carto from the second box but this time I screwed it in before filling it and not only ensured the carto was not DOA but that it also was capable of pulling air through it! It did. Finally! (I thought) as I squeezed the last of my favorite e-juice into this carto. After getting it started I noticed that it tasted horribly like I was sucking on wet filler material. Never have I had this happen before with CCV's carto's! They have always been great! Not this time! Not only did that poly fill taste never completely leave even after topping off with a compatible tasting e-juice (my second favorite flavor since I was now out of my first favorite flavor!) the carto died before I could even come close to finish vaping what e-liquid was in there..
At that point my hubby calls to tell me he had just gotten the money on my debit card so obviously I got right on the internet and not only ordered a huge bottle of my favorite e-juice from DIY Flavorshack but also decided to order carto's from them as well (amongst a bunch of other stuff which by the way was all up to par... well except for one flavoring and one flavor of e-juice but I already did a review on THAT in the appropriate sub-forum). So here I am with a few carto's I can't trust until the new order arrives. Needless to say I used them in desperation and was THOROUGHLY disappointed with the results. The filler material broke down MUCH faster than they ever have and again, tasted horribly like the filler material and each one pretty much died after hardly ANY use.
Thankfully (or so I thought) my order from DIY Flavorshack came exceptionally quickly and I excitedly filled up one of their carto's with my favorite e-juice that also came in that shipment. 1st carto? DOA
Second carto? Barely any vapor production at all. I was blowing out wisps of vapor at best. .Now I am fuming. Back on the internet as I try the filled carto on 5 different batteries (mini 510, Mega 510's both manual and automatic, and my newest batteries, Joye Ego). All fully charged, and all had the same result of severe lack of vapor production. So this time I come here and do a search to see if I can find a recommendation for a vendor to order carto's from before I just go off and order something and thankfully, I find it. A glowing recommendation for Liquid Express having consistently great carto's. I apprehensively order 3 boxes of 510 carto's from Liquid Express and decide to do some more browsing and order more Vanilla Bean e-juice from ECigExpress since I was getting low. While on the ECigExpress site I notice they have these really cool clear carto's.
What the heck, I order a box of those and hope they'll be great. Both orders from each vendor arrived in the mail on the same day. 3 boxes of 510 carto's from LiquidExpress and my e-juice and Clearomizers from ECigExpress. I'm curious so I try the Clearomizers first. Bad choice. Filled that puppy up with my favorite e-juice and what do I get in return? BURNT ATTY TASTE!!! I mean big time too! I tried giving it a chance and taking a few light puffs every minute or so hoping that horrid burnt taste would eventually go away. Nope. Well, not really. What I discovered was that after letting the juice sit in that clearomizer for a day I was able to take a few puffs at a time before getting that burnt atty taste again. It averaged about 15 minutes before I could safely puff on it again. (Was not tossing anymore of my e-juice!!)
THANK GOD for Liquid Express. Their carto's saved me. I won't be trying any new carto contraptions any time soon from ANY vendor. From here on out I'll be buying Liquid Express carto's exclusively!!! And, no, I didn't even bother reporting the bad carto's to the vendors they came from. Was too disgusted, have too much going on right now to deal with it and just chalked it all up as another loss in the world of vaping. Live and learn..

i personaly dont like Clearomizers lol we have about 4 boxes here i brought to "try" out .... and nasty .... they cant handle anything that might look like a decent volts needless we say we still have them sitting here lol ....
