cat - if the carto is headed for the trash anyway, I remove the top cap and place the top end on the edge of a counter and either push the threaded part into the tank or lightly tap with a hammer to push the threads into the tube. You can then either pull with your fingers or reach in with a pair of pliers (needlenose work best) and pull it out the rest of the way. The feeding in of a new carto - Place a small drip tip (smaller diameter than the carto) on your punched carto and feed through the bottom cap. I've used a hammer to gently tap into place with no ill effects. Then remove the drip tip, fill and put on top cap.

It's usually pretty quiet around here this time, but if anyone sees this, I am struggling to replace my cartos in my tanks. I remember reading something about pushing it through with aniother one and a tip? or something like that. I have really bad hands, so keep in mind I can barely get a new one on through the bottom cap when I first start out. I have to lube everything to get it in and make sure my carto is good and round beore I can get it in. I cannot get them out!!! Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

you may be refering to the video on the maintenance page cat ?

I've never had a tube crack due to juice but that's a seriously long list! I need to do some research on materials because, at this point, if you want a transparent tube that resists cracking, glass is all we have! There must be something else!

It is a long list and many flavors I use are on it unfortunately. TPA Cherry Blossom is one of my fav cherry flavors and the culprit of my cracked tube. Hubby took one look at it and just didn't believe me when I told him it was the juice. Then he said why the hell would I vape something that could decompose plastic like that? Got me to thinking....triacitin based flavors are off my list for now.

@ delabs,

CCV guarantees there carto's so why wouldn't you just speak to Andrew and have him send you 2 new boxes of carto's since you have always gotten your carto's there ?

She was sharing a post from someone else with us. Not her personally. I think this is about current vendors other than stormy who got a bad batch from boge. this happened last year with vendors who all received boges after the chinese new year. Many vendors had received a bsad batch of cartos at the same time.

Cat, I screw a 510 dead ego battery on the connector and pull them out with that. It helps as I have weak hands also. I also use one of those thin rubber grabber thingies when I need to take the mouthpiece off, or I insert a pen through the tube and "pop" it out like in the video.
Thanks Joan. I can get the mouthpiece off just fine. and I can get the tube off just fine. What I can't do is get the carto out of the bottom cap. I'll go back and read what you said again, though.

Yes, you screw on an ego batt to the end carto connector and use the battery to pull out the carto. It works great!

Thanks Wolf. I'll give it a try. Unfortunately, I don't know what a needle nose plier is. Maybe I can google up a picture.
