Ever thought about a padded case for 'em, Cyndi? I panic when one of my Lavas so much as fall on carpet. I know no bad should come of it, but I'd hate to see a Lava break from something so simple.

I never thought of that....i could probably make something that would protect the provari/lava, but yet still let me carry them in my pocket. Thanks for the idea :)

Okay, question. You know how the top of the carto tends to stay drier than the bottom with a tank? For me, it makes the flavor duller so I was wondering... if I put a hold near the top and one near the bottom will I manage to get more liquid up at the top thus increasing the flavor? I usually pop the top on the lava and drip into the carto but that kind of defeats the purpose of the lava. I just don't want to flood the carto so thought I'd ask you experienced people first.

I haven't noticed a difference in the flavor from dripping, cartomizers or using the tank. But, I have put up to 3 holes in my tanks, 1 on each side of the bottom, and one a little higher up, and haven't had any problems with flooiding. Maybe because of the thickness of the juice.

Grammie punched a bunch of cartos for me that way and I like them alot. Wolf just punched a bunch of cartos for me with both holes very near the bottom. I need to make a comparison soon.

Hello peeps!! I don't have enough time to catch up here with my crazy work schedule but wanted to say:

BIGBLUE- a special thanks to you for bringing all the new tank pics forward. I REALLY appreciated being able to see all of them thus far!! They are so beautiful!!
I have to go find my daughter some sparkly converse tennis shoes today for her dance performance. Have a great Saturday!

You're very welcome. I found a bunch of "DIY" cosmetic cases online that come in various sizes with foam that you can cut to your specifications. I made one for my Roughstack and Lava. It's nice and slim and would definitely be pocketable with scrubs. I ordered several more in different sizes and am going to try one for my ProVari when it gets here. I'll let you know the outcome and if you don't have something by then, I'll send one your way. :)

Cute!! :) Hope ya find some, Miss Cat.

I also punch a hole nearer to the top and one at the bottom for my thinner juices. It just works for me. For more viscous or 100% VG juice, I punch three stacked holes.

I carry my provari/lava tank around in my scrub pockets all the time. Had it fall out a couple of time and hit the tile floor. No breaks to either of them. The tank has never slid. Twice when it hit the floor the boge broke off at the threads, but no other injurys.

Maybe I should clarify. I try not to carry my set-up in my stiff jean front pockets. I do carry it in sweatshirt pockets. My fears were justified the other day when a member complained of their cartos frequently breaking at the threads. Not too worried about breaking the vari or the new stronger tanks.

Thanks Summer, I'm going shopping later today, and I will see what I can find.

just to clarify how and where the holes should be placed.

I have been punching two at the very bottom on both sides.

should I be punching one near the top as well? I do not know how thick my juices are. Most right now are CC.
Please advise. thanks!

ob, lots of us punch ours differently. As for myself, I have always punched two holes just like you are ever since I started using Lava tanks (7 months now) and that works perfect for me. Grammie and a few others like two holes on the same side...one higher up and one lower. So it all depends on what you prefer and what works for you personally! :)

gotcha. I wonder what one way of doing it gives you over another?
