A ton of EMS runs the last couple of days and a few auto alarms.

I felt the same way, kev, but seeing one and holding one (and buying it) at VaperCon convinced me to try it. Also, I have a little holster for it (from Drew) that you can put the Darwin in, with the tank on. It's not necessary to remove the Darwin to make it fire, you can do that with it in the holster (it accidently fire, unless I guess if you put it in a real bind). The plus side over the Provari (I have 2 Provari's & 1 Darwin) is you can run any carto/atty with it. LR stuff does not play nice with the Provari's. I can even run the Dual Coil 1.5 Shorties on the Darwin (not that I do, but I can if I want), the will NOT run at all on the Provari.

Now I am upset. Or mad.
The reason that I am upset, is that I think I was not properly prepared for the shock and intense reaction that I was going to have when I opened the mail today and gazed upon my first Lava Tank (charitably sold to me by my new best friend Dino).
I think there should be some responsibility on the part of the Lavacorps to adequately prepare the newbies for the reality of seeing one of these for the first time.
Sure I have heard the common comments like "pictures do not do it justice" or "they look way better in person" I have read the glowing reviews by SD where she in her wonderful way describes how much she loves them. I have probably mentioned one time too many what a gifted writer she it. But to be honest, even she did not do it justice.
I came home, and fed my pooch all while the box sat there. I had to feed him first as he was driving me nuts. I then opened the box and saw the cartos (pre-punched for me). I began to unwrap the tiny little perfectly packaged gift. The lights were off, so I turned them on.
I swear it started to glow. Holy s___t This is f___reaking amazing I said. Then I became upset. Why didn't anyone tell me how MUCH better this was in person? I cannot believe no one properly prepared me for just how cool this tank is!!
Ok, so maybe it is not really your responsibility. Maybe I have to take responsibility for my own actions. At the very least you guys could have said something like be sure not to open while driving. Or make sure you are not holding anything sharp when you open it, because you might drop it in your lap and severely hurt yourself.
I am just saying that it was shocking. It truly is so much more impressive in person than I could have ever imagined, and now and only now can I fully understand why there is the devoted frenzy every three weeks like there is. Of course now this puts even more pressure on me to try to score more in the future. Great, like I needed even more stress.

I agree. I like the Darwin just as much as i like the Provari.. But really like wood mods.. so my Destoyer and Grip get the most use..
