:headbang::thumb: I was looking for a high 5 smilie, but I don't see one... I am still trying to figure out what juice I am going to be putting in my new tank when I get it... The black and white marble'ish look of the tank I won last night is going to look boss on my black lava tube...

I really want to officially thank Ajohnson over here in this forum.
He sold this tank to tankless me last night after the sale closed and I was still tankless. I went back and looked at the pm I sent to Jon and I am not even sure that it went through with the crash at the begining of the sale. I only sent it the one time. I was not familar with how IVC worked, but I have the hang of it now for next time. AJ said the name of the tank is "Marinara"I love that!!!!:)

Happy Saturday Sandy! D3 was my second choice, I wanted to give the new style ming a try this time. I lucked out with my first choice though. I'm hoping there will be more like D3 and 4 in the next batch. LOL, only a couple hours since the last sale and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Good morning Lavacorps...err afternoon. A reminder to all the new tank owners: invest in a quality carto punch. While a saddle valve may work, it deforms the carto quite a bit, and due to the tight tolerances of the lava tank, a deformed carto can put a lot of pressure on the bottom cap when inserting the carto. The last thing we want to see is a broken bottom cap due to this.

You also run the chance of getting a carto stuck in your bottom cap. This can be difficult to get out without breaking the bottom. Personally, I have a VIP carto punch. Works great and takes much less time than the saddle valve.

Any suggestions? I got this one, just waiting on my "25" screws to arrive lol. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/272989-diy-carto-punch.html

COV and VIP both have nice carto punches (if they're in stock). The key is to not punch too deep or you'll puncture the center tube and your carto will leak like a seive. Your new tank from Jon will have an already punched carto in it.
I probably wont use the carto that comes with it...the hole is in the center instead of on the bottom....is there a reason for that?

There are two holes in the carto that comes with the Lava Tank. One low and one a little higher up. I prefer two low, but it's a preference thing.

Two holes allow the juice to enter the tube better. Kind of like two holes in the can of juice (or condensed milk or chocolate). Makes the fluid flow.

Jon told me that he found it to help with wicking. I decided to try it and it's definitely an improvement over having them both at the bottom.
