Response from Intuit regarding e-cig related product sales.

Okay. I apologize, but we do not accept applications from businesses of your type at this time. Our Underwriting department is responsible for application approvals, and they would be able to provide you with a more specific reason. For additional details, you can reach them at 800-558-9558.

Dang it...

Oh well... Was an idea...

Thanks for checking Jon.

Question ,Why do you need to state that your a ecig business. Its not like your selling juice or even ecigs themself . A tank is not considered ecig related if you dont want it to be.It would be up to the customer to use it for ecig purposes. It could easily be sold as a lucky charm or paper weight, etching tank, fancy jar etc.

After all your not really a ecig vendor, your a tank vendor.I can see a issue if the vendor name was like jonboyecigs but Lava tanks doesnt say anything about ecigs

Just a thought

Str8V8ping,

If I were Jon I'd be sure that whatever payment processor I used knew up front exactly what I was selling and agreed to it to limit my risk of trouble in the future. I would also, however, consider selling the tanks without a cartomizer because that is the item that definitively makes it an e-cig related product, (a fact I hadn't considered in an earlier post on the subject.)

Jon doesn't need to include the carto, if that's all that is making it classify as "ecig" product.

I don't think anyone would mind...

I'm working on something different now instead of the Dwolla payment system, that seems to have created a war around here. I have set up a Google checkout account, and I will be able to invoice whoever gets a tank directly through e-mail. You should only have to put your credit card info in then, to pay for your ''chess set". I don't think on the consumer end, that there is any sensitive information being asked for. I will be including a carto as a "free gift" with every purchase.

Google account is the great solution. I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Google.. It is no way I'll deal with Dwolla. And being tattoo supply business and using Paypal as a major payment option I will try to minimize my transaction with Paypal.. Because they are "....." ( sorry, I can not type this word here) lol

Double like!

Is the contest still on for tonight? This would be a great way to test this out:)

I'm pretty sure the contest is still going on tonight. We're actually just trying to test the integrity of the e-mail system, to see if it can handle the split second load that sale night always brings.

I wish I could just buy a lava tank and so do my 23 other friends its a bit much right now to try to get one.

anything worth getting is worth the trouble.

believe me, I own 2 and want more. these are very nice.

besides, Jon and Dino are making it easier this upcoming sale.

something like 200 tanks, new way to order, 2 tank limit, ect.

stainless steel too... freaking beatiful... good luck mate.
