I'm trying to use my 1 functional atty as much as possible to put off placing another order, but I'd forgotten to dewick it prior to breaking it in last week and it's really starting to sour. It's next to impossible to get all those frickin' threads out once they've been used for a bit.

I know this is for the Joye 510 carto thread but just offer this suggestion. I much prefer atomizers (901 and 801 over 510) over any style cartomizer including the Joye and CE2 and I have atomizers at 8+ months now and still good and not sour. If you've got an atomizer that's soured try a PGA or 91% isopropyl alcohol bath first and if that doesn't help then a dry burn. You can find lots of info on ECF if you search for "dry burn" and you should be good to go.

Thanks. I've tried just about everything listed throughout the forums over the last few months. I've found that once the wick is fully caked, all bets are off until I debridge and remove all the wicking. But I'm not a fan of a debridged atty, as it results in rampant leaking and vapor reduction for me. I'm going to try dry burning again with the wick in and see if it improves things.

For right now I'm back to one of our newer-revision cartos. This one's running like a champ on my brandy-new (today!) Omega, by the way.

I have 3 (I think) or 4 different 510 carts and they are all different inside. I will try to post pictures tomorrow of each one. One is the hard top with the little plug inside and the thin seal you break. The Second one there is a sort of round clear mesh and it has a white soft top. Then the 3rd one is built exactly like a kr808 cart, the only difference is the part you screw into the battery. After my last fiasco with the bottom of the cart coming off, I just gave up on them and stuck to my atomizers. I like having different carts or attys from different companies but carts are a long shot for me now. (Still haven't purchased the FSUSA ones). I'm just irked about the different ones I have gotten and they are all different.

757girl, I'd like to see those pics to see what it is you have there.

So far, the best two types of cartos I've used are the 510's from FSUSA and the IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer from Ikenvape. I really haven't used anything else, including the CE2's, that perform as well as these two.

The FSUSA 510 requires a syringe for filling and I use a syringe also on the mega 808 but some people just drip the juice into it.

Okay Okay I am back.

These are one of each of the three different carts I got for a 510 (Repeat NOT from FSUSA but from a variety)

Here is the inside of one that favors a 808 the only difference is the bottom which you can see in the first picture

This is the second type which I assumed was a mesh or something in a circular formation (Tell me what you think it is)

This is the 3rd one which I assume is similar to the one that FSUSA carries. I only took the top part off b/c I could not find my small flathead screw driver to pop it out. But there is a seal underneath that inner cap.

And here is meeeeeee. I took the first one and I was like Geezzzz I have to make a sign lol Sooo I know it is probably backwards lol

Okay, the first one has a filler material inside it. Right? Fill it with a syringe and rotate the syringe around the inside as your fill it and you'll love it. Good cartos!

The second one is a CE2. Use a syringe and put in about one ml of juice by injecting it into the tiny two holes you see to each side. Fairly good cartos.

The third one is a mystery. I took these photo's over to my Paint Shop Pro and made them brighter and sharper and I still can't see the inside of the third one good. It does look like it has two fill holes in it, most likely for a syringe, but I can't tell for sure.

And the pics of YOU are beautiful. Wish I was 21 again!

Well the thing about the first one is I couldn't find the metal wick in 2 of them lol So I just saved one to show you all. The third one is the one that I loved the most and the screw end came off on 2 or 3 but the carto itself was GREAT. The second one I tried ONCE and couldn't figure out what to do, so it has been sitting in my carto box lol

Thanks for the compliment!!

I'm sitting here on the first day of the New Year and got to thinking about your cartos (yeah, sure!).

I have five different types of cartos on manual batteries and was doing a little, unscientific taste test. I'm after flavor more than TH and was using HopScotch for the test.

In my (always) humble opinion, the best flavor is obtained from the Joye 510 cartos that FSUSA sells. As far as I can tell nothing else even comes close.

Sure would be interested in hearing about what the rest of you think.

And 757girl, I have two questions.
1. How big is your boyfriend?
2. Can he run very fast (like in chasing me)?
3. Do you like mature, worldly men?
4. Is being able to count good a big issue?

LMMFAO!!!!!! he is around 5"11 and 230. Yes he can run fast. He is an older and mature man b/c I can't do younger men neither could my mother. Yes being able to count is an issue because someone has to count the money coming into the house lol

When i used cartos all the time the FSUSA type was what I mainly used. I filled it normally by dripping through the battery end and let it sit for about 10 minutes. People don't have to but I do. The TH was GREAT.

Well actually, I was thinking about poor, old Ab and LD. I need to get them married off so they can live in infernal wedded bliss like the rest of us guys do.

That's quite alright T. I am one of those happily divorced people. I did the dirty deed and it was harder getting out of, than in. Once I finally have it paid off -- the marriage and the divorce -- I may consider doing it again, if, and only if, I find the right woman! It has been a wonderful 6 years since I signed those papers of freedom.
