I'll have to try the .5 Ohm coil yet. I did pick up a 5 pack of the .5 but my initial impressions tell me I would have been happy with 1 Ohm. Charging it now and after it's full I'll see what kind of daily life I can get out of it. A half of a day would be great, anything more and it may very well replace my Aspire setup.

So I tried the .5 Ohm coil, oh yeah, that's where it's at! ;) I do like to lung hit but I also found this device interesting in that I did take quite a few mouth hits and enjoyed doing just that.

The battery lasted 8 hours for my personal habits. I was a pack a day smoker and my rhythm in vaping is somewhat similar to how I use to smoke. I am finding as I progress in vaping that I am vaping a little less day to day.

The flavor however is truly impressive. The RY4 that I like in my Aspire setup I do not like in the Ego One as it is too much flavor and too sweet. On the bright side though, the RY4 I just started to personally mix tastes prefect in the Ego One whereas it did not have enough flavor in the Aspire setup.

I can definitely see me using the Ego One over the Aspire on a daily basis going forward. It's just a nice device, great flavor and plenty of vapor. FWIW, I am using vaping as a smoke quitting method with the goal to eventually quit vaping as well.

I tried rewicking my original coil today. The top cap was pretty hard to get off, but everything else was pretty simple. I haven't gotten it perfect yet but I think I can get it right after another try or so, too lazy for now so I just popped in a new coil. My first attempt at rewicking, I had a little bit of cotton blocking off some of the airflow at the bottom of the coil. I fixed that problem by rewicking it again and using a toothpick to push the cotton to the side and making sure there was a clear opening in the middle of the coil. Unfortunately, theeen I added too much wick again and it didn't seem to be wicking as well. I'll try again later.

So I've come to really like doing lung hits off this device. I've been testing out some 0 nic samples I got in this tank and can take pretty big rips. I tried putting in some of my other juice which is 6mg and it was too harsh to do lung hits in. I was gonna reorder some of the samples I got but now I'm having trouble deciding if I want to get lower nic juice for lung hitting or my usual 6mg for mouth to lung hits with a little TH. I don't want to buy the same juice in two different nicotine levels sooo... I dunno what to do. I could get 3mg but I'm worried it won't have enough TH if I use it in my other devices or do a mouth to lung hit. Ahh... vape problems lol.

You could try cutting some of your stronger stuff down with some straight pg or vg. Thats what I had to do.
Ended up with twice as much liquid in the end.:vapor::vapor:

I don't think adding pg itself would increase flavor, maybe if the juice itself was made from mostly pg instead of vg but just adding plain pg seems like it'd just make it have more pg. Thanks for the suggestion though I'll probably just buy a bottle of 3 nic just for lung hitting so I don't have to dilute anything. If anything, I could probably just add a few drops of pure nicotine to the juice if I need more throat hit.

You said yourself that your RY4 in the 0.5 ohm build on your Ego One was giving you too much flavor, so the obvious solution is to cut it with unflavored PG or VG. I did this myself. That's the common sense route that everyone takes when they convert to rebuildables and don't want to waste the juice they already have. No point wasting all that highly concentrated juice you bought for those inefficient mods you were once accustomed to. The suggestion from Hitmetwice was right on point. I did the same as he did, cut mine with an equal volume of unflavored VG and still had plenty of flavor, and despite all that diluting, still way too much nicotine because of the superior delivery of vapor.

I typically vape 6mg and I have several devices so I don't want to just get really low nic liquid just to use with the Ego One. For the One, yes I would want something lower nic but I want the same amount of nic for my other tanks and devices because I won't be lung hitting those and need the throat hit. I think I will just have to dedicate a lower nic or no nic bottle just to use with the One since I seem to be only lung hitting this thing.

I picked up an XL on February 2nd and have used nothing else since. I REALLY like this thing! I vaped nothing but 24mg liquid for 5 years. I've cut to 12mg using the ONE because I am easily vaping twice the amount I used to vape, but this is not a complaint. I enjoy both the 1.0 and .5 heads, depending on what I'm after at the time. Both kick .... :)

I got 1100mAh version and I am very impressed. Great performance, at least on par with my other stuff (Nautilus mini, Kanger subtank mini, Delta II with istick 30 and 50 W). Doesn't last as long, but fit in my shirt pocket. Tons of flavour and vapour.

I'm still thinking about getting this Ego ONE. Can anyone tell me how the ONE's vapor and airflow with the 1 Ohm coil compares with the Mini Nautilus?

The One tank has a lot more airflow than the Nautilus mini but the airflow is adjustable if you prefer more of a mouth to lung hit. While I did think the Nautilus mini had good vapor and flavor, the One tank far surpasses it in both. It chucks out some serious vapor, and I'm using the 1.0 ohm coil. I'm on coil #2 since I got it, still performing superbly. I could probably still be using my first coil but I wanted to take it apart to see if I could rebuild it but got lazy and just decided to use a new coil since I already ripped the first one apart.

I've been using two of the EGO ones for three weeks now and after my first flight (coincidence?) they started leaking. I also switched one f the tips to the plastic one just so I can differentiate them. It seems to be fairly random i.e. after half a day of no problems, suddenly my fingers get juiced up. It does seem to be leaking out of the air flow which I keep fully open most of the time. Any hints on what to look for? I've taken them apart and cleaned them up, put new coils in and made sure everything's screwed in tight etc. I certainly wouldn't trust them in my shirt pocket at the moment. I'm hoping I've overlooked something really simple.
