Right now, my tank is doing the "sitting upright all day" test. It performed fine during the all night test. Next, I suppose, will the "laying on it's side test." But on the first day I had the tank, sitting upright for 2-3 hours led to flooding, bad flooding.

Well, epic fail: came home to a mildly flooded tank--the coil area was gurgling. I tried to clean it up and get it working; but nope, the flooding only got worse and worse. I didn't want to waste any more juice on this, so I just stopped messing with it. But, hey, I love the drip tip--it's working out really well on my Nautilus Mini. I suppose that's my consolation prize.

I have had my 2200 for a month or so and have not had any leaks or flooding...I know it sucks when you get a product that has that problem. I have been there myself! I would push the vendor to replace it if its within a reasonable amount of time. If they don't then I wouldn't give them anymore business. You could try getting another tank for it, they are pretty cheap online at My Vapor Store. That is if it's worth it to you.

Hi Buddy, I actually bought this as a stand alone tank from My Vapor Store. I sent them an email this morning, just letting them know about my situation, but not making any demands. I leave it up to them, but I should point out that they have been real good to me in the past, they are an excellent vendor. So, I don't want to be all this & that about a $15 tank, but I did let them know.

Yea I think you have a defect tank although if you can't easily tell what is wrong with it from just looking inside or whatever, its hard to say. I just don't see why it would flood and have all these problems if your coils are fine and have their seals and if you've tried several different coils to boot.

On the other hand, I recently picked up a Kanger Subtank Nano which looks nice and flush with the Ego One battery and I must say, that I prefer it to the One tank. The second air setting on the Kanger is a lot lot airier than the One tank all the way open. I also find the vapor a lot more dense and smooth. They are equally noisy though. If you want to try a different tank to use with the One battery, I highly recommend picking up a nano! In fact, I like them so much I want another one... but probably the subtank mini so I have the option of rebuilding OR using the stock coils. It's unfortunate the nano doesn't have a rebuild deck, but who knows, maybe they will come out with one in the future. The nano IS taller than the One tank though so it will make your setup look a little longer but it's not a big deal to me.

I've tried the overnight test of laying it on it's side with the vent open and had no leaks. Since I bought this device for the convenience of carrying (like many) this was a concern and I have put it through it's paces and feel pretty confident I am not going to ruin my clothes.

I will say that the coils seem to need to be re-tightened after a tank of juice is used. You can screw it in tight initially but when I would remove the tank, the coil would unscrew with it. I turn the coil down good and hard the second time and it stays fine there on.

I am completely happy with this device. So happy that I cleaned up and re-packaged my Aspire setup and plan to sell it.

So I guess I hold buying the eGo One for now.

But i just very curious, how many tanks or ml your EGO ONE battery last ??

I think it is going to come down to how you vape. For me, I am getting 2 tanks from a charge for a 1100mah battery. A charge lasts from 7am to 6pm for me. What is great about the device though is how quickly it charges and that you can also vape while charging.

Sorry to hear. I put my ego1 (1100mAh+1.8ml+.5ohm head) for a torture test. 70% VG juice, chain vaping, upside-down, shaking - got dry hits, got some condensation on the drip tip but no leaking. I can only guess that it's a QC issue or somehow the tank was designed to match the battery.

I have the 1100 battery with the 2.5 tank. Im experiencing leakage through the air intake a lot. Through the threads too. Also can't get the air intake off the battery unless i wrap a thick rubber band around it to get traction. Anyone find a fix for leakage. Very disappointed. Only had it a week and I don't want something that leaks in any way. Does the sub tank nano leak at all? Does the sub tank nano fit flush with the 1100 battery? It doesn't look like it does.

Okay, then, single 1100mah charge gives 2 tanks ( 1.8ml x2 tanks )

What about, how many ml for a coil to last ?

Thanksss

Unfortunately it will depend entirely on the liquid used. I've been using the same head since purchasing the tank almost 5 weeks ago, it is still fine. imo. I use high pg juice with low flavour levels. YMMV. Cheers.

Wow, same head for 5 weeks thats pretty impressive.

I've been using the same head for a little over a week now, going through about 4mls per day and its working as good as new.

I'm getting about 1.5-2 days out of my 2200mah battery. The 2200 fits so easily the pocket; once I saw the two batteries side to side it was a no brainer to get the 2200 piece.

I haven't experienced any leaking, flooding, or dry hits. I've never purchased any other sub-ohm tank system, but comparing it to the other tank systems I have used, i.e. protanks, nautilus, etc, the ego one is far more consistent IMO.

Just ordered one of these...hope its good. My normal set up is an iStick 50w with either a Kanger Subtank mini or a dripper, thought this would be good for summer when I don't have a nice deep coat pocket to put it in. Just realized while walking the dog the last couple nice days that I can't really put the iStick 50w in my pocket....
