I have an atty/cartridge combo that will cause a leak as described when in the PCC. In my case, I took the atty apart to clean it, and when I put the wicking part of it back on there is a microscopic bit of it sticking out of the base, like I couldn't put the part back on all the way. I have a cartridge that is showing age, and the combination of the two does not make as good a seal on the tank, so when sitting in the PCC a bit will leak out between the cover and the battery.

You would think that is my issue, but trying 7 different tanks and 4 different attys, I would have to say no. I just can't see having 2 bad tanks/attys with the starter kit, and more bad tanks/attys in addition to that. I could be wrong.

I wonder if you got a knock-off? I deal with electronic devices quite a bit (my job is in mobile computing) and I have to be careful when ordering items online because every now and then I find someone trying to pass off a semi-decent knock-off as the real thing. In fact I just had to deal with an Amazon issue where a company sold me a knock-off. I'm not saying that's definitely what it is, of course, but it does happen.

I often hear rumors that DIRECTLY across the street from the Apple factory in China, there's a giant factory with an apple logo on the front (no bite taken out). Supposedly they buy up all the Apple reject parts.

Thought about that as well, checked the Joyetech serial number. I did the scratch check on the upc code and it matched. If its a knock off, someone switched boxes.

Eric i know youre sick of being pounded with questions, but im wondering if you leave your eroll on a table overnight, do you get a thin leak line on the table? I just wonder if its the case thats causing the issue or the batt. Im not sure if you saw my other reply, but i have had this sucker fire in the case, and im wondering if yours is doing that at all, because that would cause some major leakage

Also if youve been in contact, i hope youre being reimbursed. Im sorry to hear of the trouble you have had, especially when we have such a positive experience so far in this thread from others. I hope whatever you decide to do works out for you, even if it is stick with the blus. As long as it keeps you off the stinkies =)

I have actually stop using it. Its just to messy, and a hassle. I never noticed the line of liquid other than in the case. Yes i did leave one out on the table and one in the case. I would get some liquid from laying it on the table, but that could just be the excess from charging it. More just feel the liquid on my hands.

I have a question did your eroll starter come sealed with clear plastic around the outside of the box?

Mine came from 2 different vendors. One was wrapped, the other was not but had two hologram stickers on the side to break open. Both of mine have slots in the PCC.

I think mine was shrink-wrapped. When I bought it, the sales lady immediately opened it to demonstrate how to assemble and disassemble it, so I didn't open it myself and my memory might be failing me. But I think so.
