how about charge in car and with a power bank ?
Most car adaptors put out 1 amp, most power banks even less... Should be fine on both counts. Like I said earlier, most mods won't pull more then their required charge rate so when all is working properly, it doesn't matter much. Being a former firefighter, I tend to always err on the side of caution...as a just in case something goes wrong. Plenty of people charge using a 2.5 amp adaptor with no issues....but I've seen a small handful of chip failures while charging....issues happened.
Odds are you will be fine... I'd bet the actual odds of that sort of failure are 1 in ten thousand or more. Call me a worry wart :p

I switch from the ti coil to ni coil, I like ni coil better in terms of the way the tc handle ni coil, I get flavorful the time not like ti.

Maybe you like the taste... I felt weird when I switched from kanthal to ni... kanthal tasted better because I was used to that metalic taste while ni had much less taste. Ti will just give you the eliquid flavor without any addition so it might feel weird at the beginning.

On another note:

Evic VT out for delivery. Expected delivery time between 15:00 and 17:00 :D

Got it :)

First impression:

1. It's slightly larger than my custom mini hana but has twice the capacity so no complaint really.

2. Never liked the stripes so I keep not liking them but the Silicon cover will come handy at the beach and while boating as it covers the fire button. Not the USB though which is a shame.

3. I used to use 185C for Ti on a dna 40 which I estimated was around 230C in reality. Setting the VT to 225C in Ti mode gives me exactly the same experience so I wasn't really that far off. In reality I think it should be 227C

4. My resistance reads higher than expected. My coil always was 0.42 Ohms on my dna but moving to the VT, it reads as 0.48 which is strange but the connection is pretty solid

5. The 510 connector seems very good with a very heavy spring. My erlprinz barely sits flush though. There is a 0.02mm gap. Not a big deal.

6. Now let's see how it will hold up long term. For now I'm happy

PS: anybody wants to buy an unused mega ego tank? I have no use for it [emoji14]

Regards
Tony

I would give it another chance but taste is subjective so you might never like it... Don't know. Give it another tank or another liquid and decide later.

What color did you get? I may be interested in the tank.

They sell little plugs to cover the micro usb port, I think I'll get me some.

Mine will be here today! Only 4 days Hawaii to Chicago.

Damn I should have got the yellow. Changed my mind now, lol.

Many cheap car chargers, some cheap wall plugs, may be rated one amp but many times only put out .5 if its cheap, due to the pin out on the USB port. The device is supposed to restrict to .5 amps if it detects a computer by the pin out.

In practice the charging is controlled by the device. So a 2 amp shouldn't matter, unless the board fails it could cause more heat in the enclosure at that rate.

This is a 15 amp battery from what joyetech eludes to.

Actually running below one amp should cause more heat because its stressing to get enough power.

I wasn't expecting mine until today, it was a very pleasant surprise. What color did you get? Hope you get yours soon, nice mod to add to the collection, although my collection is small. :D:vapor:

White, the only one available. They all look ugly to me so no big deal. Ugly is ugly. Hopefully the paint will peel off and I'll polish it if it is SS [emoji14]

Regarding the tank... Both of you are in the US. Shipping will be probably higher than what the tank is worth but I can check at the post office.

1 full day of use for me and I still had half battery life. I am usually around 25% battery on my iStick 50 with about the same usage.

I charged mine before my road trip on Wednesday. Drove 575 miles to Chicago. Went through prob 9ml juice....guessing, drove back the next day using prob only 5 ml. Vaped prob another 5 ml through it so far, and my battery is registering 40%ish. That's in TC Ni mode at 30w and ranging from 480-550 *depending on juice. I did notice it dropped from full relatively quick, but, I think this is more real time battery monitoring vs Istick, which is 20% battery per bar. So at 81% charge, Istick still shows as full.

So what's your puff count and vape time for that?
