Hello

I ordered a 5 PACK of the newer joytech cartomizers. Its black and all plastic. I had read great things, but i seem to be having issues. They say they can hold up 1.2 ml. But I get about .5 or .6 and the thing starts leaking like crazy, and then only vapes for an hour at best then get the burnt empty taste. I'm using the syringe they gave me thru Wordupecig.com. Does anyone have any tip they shoot my way.?

my tip: get the boge cartos or something similar and easier to fill. i still have 6 or 7 of the joye cartos. i dont want to use them. i dont want to even sell them to my friends.

only other way i can think of is to drip the juice right into the hole at the threaded end. this takes PATIENCE though. you have to do it one drop at a time and still give time for each drop to soak in. and there is still a chance that some of it will drip through the other end because it went the wrong way. but this has shown to be the cleanest method for me. on a brand new carto, you should be able to get about 20 drops into there. after that, 15 is just about right to replenish.

I loved mine for the longest time, then I discovered LR cartos. Now I'm back in the Boge camp at 1.5Ω - 2.0Ω on my Omega.

The only advice I could give is to fill them very slowly - especially the first fill. I also had better luck using an 18 gauge blunt tip and letting it rest on the fill port instead of pushing a hypodermic into the filler. You can get 1+ mls into them on the first fill, but subsequent fills will only give you about .5. I believe the reason is that the juice hangs back in the polyfill. Try giving it a taryn spin once in a while - that worked for me.

I agree - when they work, they are as good or better than direct dripping on an atty. It just seems to me that the fill port should be replaced by an open well so you could drip directly on the filler.

I love my Joye 510 cartos. Have not had any problems at all with them. I always fill by dripping drops one at a time into the battery end. Takes me very little time to do with barely any mess and I can easily do it anywhere only needing a kleenex to wipe it clean when its filled and to use to catch any excess if I do blow it out before vaping. The first time I fill I do 25 drops and then let it sit for a bit and then add more until its not quickly soaking into the carto. Wipe off with a papertowel or kleenex. I prefer to start a new one the night before I wish to use the next morning. First thing in the morning I blow from the mouthpiece through the carto- if I've over filled any excess will come out the battery end and I'm ready to go. I normally only use my cartos when I'm driving and out and about so my usage tends to vary greatly on different days. Sometimes will have to refill when I'm out and about but always refill when I get home by add drops to the battery end until its not quickly soaking into the carto. Obviously depending upon how much vaping time I've had between refills I may only be adding 5 or 6 drops or 20 as I did eariler today. Let sit for a few minutes and do the blow from the mouthpiece end through the battery end to clean any over filling that may have occurred and its ready for when I need it next.

For me Boges just don't work as well or as easily. Its a good thing there's different versions for different people :)

i love getting on the forum ready to post a question and seeing that there is already a discussion about it. i have been using the same cartos and recently also got a couple of the eGo specific cartos to try out, and i have had the same "problem" with both models. i put it in quotes, because although the leaking and feeling as though i am not sufficiently filling them to capacity is annoying, i still find them very satisfactory. i have been using the "fill through the threads" method for a while, and i tend to get a lot of leakage. i top off constantly, which makes me feel as though i am using sort of a glorified drip tip method but with a carto instead. after reading these posts, i am wondering if i am not giving sufficient time for the liquid to soak into the filler. does that sound right? right now, if i start getting lower vapor production or a burnt taste, i will just drip into the threads and immediately start puffing which most of the time results in me sucking juice into my mouth or having it leak all over my lip. i tried using the syringe method for the first time last night, but i ended up just wasting a bunch of liquid from having it drip through the battery end while trying to fill from the top hole. would waiting for it to soak longer after filling through the threads solve this you think? if so, how long is generally long enough to wait, and is there a position i should have the carto sitting in to have it best soak in? (i.e. upright, on its side?) what do you think?

I ordered some LR cartomizers for the 510, they are stainless steel and long as a atty and cartidge combined, and they came with no end cap, can I just drop directly into the open end to fill, or do I need to buy a syringe?

No end cap? Where did you get them, who makes them and what's their resistance (ohms). Can't help you without that information.

Get yourself the Janty Oversized (also known as mega / XL etc) cartomizers. They hold 1.8ml (they truly do with no leakage) have an awesome draw and are just a quallity carto. Wellt hey are the only ones I've ever used but I wouldn't bother with anything else - that's how good they are - so good that I'm not even curious about other reg res cartos.I love them. Haven't had a single dry hit or a burned taste from the one I have been using the past 3 weeks. Zero leakage. Also looking forward to trying these boge lr cartos people seem to rave about. Yet to have a single hit on an lr atty.
