Blindsight...the Cartomator finish that matches the P+ is Satin. If you want the caps refinished to Satin, pm me and I'd do them for free. Here is Satin with the upcoming Beveled Top Cap and SS tube.

I haven't found viewing my juice as important as I thought it would be. I tend to stare at the beauty and craftsmanship of my P+ now, instead of the juice!

Wow....how do I get my hands on one (or more) of these tanks? Thanks!

Hey cuseguy,

One quick question as I have been checking Nhaler and HV's, the Cartomators are sold with dual coil 1.5s, boge 2.0 and boge 3.0. Unfortunately, they don't have the Cartomator with the satin finish with dual coil 1.5s. If say I buy the a satin finish tank with the boge can I replace it with a dual coil cart? I just wanted to check with you to see if the tanks were specific to the carts that came with it. I dont think they are but I figured I could double check with you.

Thanks!

I know I answered you in pm but for the benefit of new tank users....yes, any standard diameter 510 type carto will fit.

Cuse, got the cartinator in today with satin slotted caps, charcoal gray tank, boge 2ohm sized from nhaler (only option for the caps)....

Really, really liking it. Matches well with my pp 18650(s), and I'm digging the vape on it. That said, I have a handful of dual cartos left...

I'm presuming that as long as the feed hole is above the lip and in the tank, they can be used with it. Granted, they'll extend past the top, but that's certainly the smallest problem I've had with tanks.

Will the satin SS tanks be the same size, or will be available in a range of sizes?

Finally, any idea on when they might be ready?

Not a huge deal, I'm really liking the (temporary?) setup. It seems really secure on the precise compared to my other setups. Hell, I may even feel comfortable walking around with this in my coat pocket!

God, I hate to ask....what's a resurrector?*
Crystal Clear Vaping

And, are you on the standby list for the g-tank-us?
Negative.

*Does it come back to life after three days after you swore it died after driving a nail through it?**
Not this one, but I have something similar.

Ohh man I am slow today. I was thinking of a Vampire when I replied, and then a 2x4 smacked me in the head.

**I am SO going to hell for that last one!
I'll race ya!

Intriguing. Assuming they're the same diameter as the boge 2ohms, it would still have the same problem as the duals, wouldn't it? Sticking too far past the top of the tank? Admittedly, not the biggest problem in the world, but a touch inelegant, especially on an otherwise classy looking mod.

The charcoal gray is really starting to grow on me. And being able to buy 5 of the boge's at VK for $8.95-less with customer value coupon-and cheap, next day shipping is really starting to appeal to me.

They are the same diameter and I plan on just cutting my own tube to length. If I like the cartos. The gray is pretty nice.
And wouldn't you know the carto that came with it is garbage.

Got a few carto tank mods to use with the precise pluses. Thankfully, I've got both a slant and flat top of the 18650!

VPX SS Satin Beveled Cartomator Tank. Hands down my favorite. Matches the Precise plus exactly, design works well on both model caps. This mod introduced me to punched boge cartos, which I prefer to punched DC cartos. Not too hard to fill, but a little messy. The Tanks grab the cartos firmly enough that you can move it when you want to refill it, but can be fairly assured it will stay in place when it doesn't. Pricey but worth it if its aesthetics appeal to you. Price $45 plus shipping. Until the long awaited stainless steel tanks sold separately are available, it doesn't play well with cinnamon ejuice. Ugh.

Black Square EZ Tank from Cigtechs. With the square end caps, it does look a little funky. But it does have one nice feature...it comes with two sizes of tanks for standard boge and DC cartos. But the longer tank will accept a boge, as the edge of the carto barely meets the top lid. A longer drip tip allows you to vape this without problems or effort, and use more juice with a boge carto. It's a good thing, as all parts of it are very snug. In addition, this arrangement also makes it very easy to refill. But it can be adjusted with a moderate amount of effort. For this reason, I'd suggest the square capped version as it provides you with a bit more gripping space that the rounded one. Definitely pocket friendly. Works well on both precise tops with some minor adjustments. Price roughly $22 plus shipping. Not cinnamon friendly, wah.

MAP DCT Tank. One of the original tanks, it still works well with Dual Coil cartos. Not quite as secure or snug as the other tanks, you can be reasonably sure it won't move if you don't want it to. But the upside of this is that it is a bit easier to fill. The only reason I don't like this tank more is that I've come to like standard boge cartos over the dual coils. But it is a solidly priced value for the money. Price varies from different vendors, available from $19 to $27 plus shipping. Not cinnamon friendly, boo.

BillBOKC (D&B Gold) tank. Locally available tank from a fellow townsman. One of the cheaper tanks, it uses rubber end caps, a cheaper tube, but has a fill hole with rubber grommet for easy filling. Low cost, can take cinnamon ejuice without ill effects, and refilling is the easiest of all the tanks. The downside is that it has the loosest grip on the carto, so it is also the most likely to slide. Price was $15 with carto on his website, but it's my understanding that Bill's cutting back on his online presence. Shame, since the low cost and ease of refilling makes this a good tank for new vapers. Works well on both caps. I've received DCT and Boge versions, preferred the DCT as the Boge was a bit on the small side for juice capacity.

Arry Carto Tank, version 3 (ACTv3) I wanted to love this so much. Honestly, really, truly. Lot of good things going for the design and manufacturing of it. Clever, innovative design, impervious to cinnamon juice, and holds a lot of juice for a boge carto. The easiest to assemble and almost the easiest to refill, the pieces all thread and screw together. The carto screws onto a threaded piece in the bottom cap, and it in turn threads into your mod. It's also a very attractive tank, and doesn't look out of place on a precise. But the bottom piece doesn't play well with either precise cap due to those mods' recessed juice well. It's either a bit loose and wobbles just a bit while you're inhaling (and I am a bit concerned about messing up the precise caps, rhodium coating notwithstanding) or it screws on securely and has zero airflow on either the slanted or the flat cap. It's a shame too, because this is otherwise an exceptional design, and I can't imagine that only the precise will be the only mod out there to have this problem with it. The ACTv3 is currently unavailable, and it is my understanding that version 4 is currently being built. Hopefully the latest version will address this one minor, niggling issue. Pricing on the new stainless steel version has not been set.

My recommendation for Precise owners? If looks are most important, money is not your primary issue and you love boge cartomizers, the SS Cartomator with SS satin beveled caps. If price and versatility are your primary emphasis, the EZ is a great deal. If I was limited to only one tank, it would probably be the EZ.
