I was going to get the 18mg. I like the cartomizers that you linked, but I can get the others in a 5 pack for a little cheaper. I just want to make sure the ones I chose aren't going to be horrible to fill or not fit with the rest of the stuff.

Both what I linked will fit with your system, 1 is a tank system (a tank with a cartomizer inside it - cartomizers last longer and you don't need to refill them as often - down side the carts are a little more expensive as they are punched with holes specially for the tanks), the other is a clearomizer with no fiber filling - they are much easier to fill than a cartomizer and again you will not need to fill them as often, they are also re-useable (fill with warm water, rinse and then dry out) so you can use different flavours in them.

The reason I suggested those 2 is that I am using a very similar battery to what you are buying and those are the 2 ways of vaping I settled on after going through plain cartomizers, dripping, different types of clearomizers etc. They are the least hassle and seem to be the most cost effective in the long run :)

I'd also suggest you buy a bottle of 24mg juice, just for when the nic cravings get bad (first thing in the morning >.<).

Although I am sure you will be more then fine with the normal cartomizers, an atomizer for dripping and drip tips - way better than I was when I started ^^

Do you guys have any other flavors that you recommend? I chose the tabacco sampler pack, but the coffee ones and fruit ones look yummy too.

This is going to be long and un-edited. Sorry in advance. This is a cut-and-paste from my "recommendations.txt" that I try to collect all sorts of useful information in. Down to the ********** it's mostly a discussion of favorite flavors from backwoods Blends, arguably the most popular juice vendor mentioned on this site. (Unfortunately, they are temporarily closed - possibly a family emergency. Hope all is well with them, and that they'll be back up and running soon).

Also check out Tasty Vapor, and their Doublers - cheap, flavored zero-nic juice for each one of their flavors. The doublers let you get 48mg flavored nic juice and reduce the nic w/o reducing the flavor. You save big bucks because the nic juice is the same price (about $16) per oz. regardless of nic strength (from 12 to 48mg), and you get 4 oz. of the Doublers for that price.

So here goes: (bear in mind, these are other peoples' quotes)

"Backwoods Brew is my favorite vendor. My favorites are casablanca, strawberry, and malty.

1. Honey Flue Nut
2. Casablanca
3. EJokers
4. Virginia
5. RY4

RY4
Applewood
Adirondack
Bluebacco- Sorry had to do it
Casablanca

Right now it's Cola, Vanilla and Dulce... but RY4 and HFN have been on the books longest as my favorites.

1:applewood
2:vanilla bean
3: maple tobacco
4: ry4
5: HFN

I DIY and the ONLY juice I still buy is BWB. I mix 1 part Malty with 3 parts Caramel Cappucino and that is what is in my Reo mini

and Grand all day.

Malty Toffee

But I love to vape on the Menthol tobacco, Waffle, Nutty and eJoker in no particular order. Then again, I am still trying everything out too, I have a feeling that the Dulce will become another one of my favorites

1. Maple Tobacco
2. Applewood Tobacco
3. Espresso
4. RY4
5. Honey Flue Nut
6. Blueberry

1 Applewood
2 eJoker
3 Applewood
4 RY4
5 Applewood
6 Hazelnut
7 Applewood

Casablanca
555
Adk
honey flue nut
Bluebacco

Applewood
Casablanca
Espresso
EJokers
Cappuccino
Malty/Malty Toffee

That's all I've tried and love them all. You can't go wrong with BWB.

1. Root Beer
2. Casablance
3. Malty Toffee
4. Waffle
5. Cappuccino

Damn but it was hard to pick five! I also love Applewood, 555, Green Apple, Coconut, Strawberry.....yummy!

Try the Melonbacco before he pulls it... Applewood lovers should like it a lot.

1. Malty Toffee- heaven
2. Espresso- the counter-balance to MT. A nice strong coffee.
3. Cappucino- a bit milder coffee
4. Cafe Mocha-smooth coffee with mocha yumminess.
5. E-joker- on it's way, never tasted it
5b. Vanilla- same as e-joker.

Hunter's Blend tasted like a lime-bacco to me. Have you tried it?

1. Malty Toffee
2. Casablanca
3. Melonbacco
4. Green Apple
5. Peach

I'm loving Applewood and Honey Flue Nut so far!

Put in an order for RY4, eJokers, Malty and Cherry Tobacco over the weekend.

carmel cappucino - icaliber - thedigitalcig.com review

I love RY, Joker, Casablanca/menthol, vanilla, malty/toffee, cappuccino, cherry/maple tobacco, applewood, bluberry...

Only 2 flavors I've tried that havent really done it for me are 555 and honey flue... but I also haven't visited them for a while, they've

been steeping... could be a totally different juice by now!

****************

juice vendors:

Backwoods, V4L, Blumist, Gourmetvapor, VaporTalk, Alien Vision, Vapor Shop, EC Blend, Tasty Vapor, Copper Creek

tasty vapor peach melba
Kalamazoo Vapor Shop's OMFG, Brass Monkey, and Apple Jax

Butterfly Bait is subtle, elegant and unmistakeable.
Dekang Kamel

"Hummingbird Nectar" and Mom & Pop's Caramel

I have ordered from EC Blend, Tasty Vapor, Volcano and eVaporClouds. Some juices are good right away and some definitely

need some time.

Backwoods Brew Applewood, amazing. EJoker was even better but he just stopped making it. All others I've sampled from him are

tasty & high quality (RY4, 555, Honey Flue, Malty Toffee)

Alien Visions Gorilla Juice, holy wow. A little sweet, a little smokey, a touch of bannana (yes, bannana)... it just works and is

perfectly balanced. Boba's Bounty and Raf-alicious are also very good.

Halo (Capt'n Jack, Tribeca, Midnight Apple), Ms T's (desserts), Copper Creek (Twisted Tobacco), Alien Visions (Boba's Bounty),

Nite Lite Vapor (Bounty Hunter), Backwoods Brew (Casablanca, Exotic555, Backo) is pretty good too.

Highbrow Vapor, a new favorite. I love that they aren't too sweet, they're a family run shoppe, use natural flavorings grown on the

farm, are customizable when ordering, and dang tasty.

I decided to learn to mix my own, I like controlling everything from the flavor to the strength to the balance of pg/vg in my mix. I

does take a bit of experimenting but I find the results very rewarding. I you want to go this route eventually I'd recommend
OneStopDIYshop.com, they are one of the most helpful shops I have had the pleasure of doing business with (especially for new DIYers)".

*****

To that list, I'd add Atomic Cinnacide (Atomic Fireball flavor) and Kretek (clove ciggy - perfect) from Tasty Vapor.

Bon vape :)

Flavors I recommend from The Vapor Room are :

Horchata, vanilla cupcake, cinnamon danish swirl, keoke coffee, caramel, pomegranate, cherry, strawberry, blah, blah...

Ginosmama likes all their menthols, smooth is best.

Check out the one sailor recommends, but the cool thing about The Vapor Room is first Tim customers get a FREE 15 mL bottle and they always have a flavor of the week and weekender deal. You can also use coupon code thankyou to get 10% off. Tell Josh and Jess that Jared and Nikki sent you. Now you know our names. :)

Juice is the hardest thing to settle on. I've been vaping for 2 years and still don't have any particular favorite that I'm happy with all day. So, I decided to make my own. At least I save a bunch of cash and have only myself to blame if it turns out yuccky!

Don't limit yourself to tobacco flavors though. You'll find that if you start trying different flavors, you'll lose your taste for tobacco, even if not 100%. I think most of us do. There are still some hardcore tobacco flavor fans, but most of us vape other stuff way more than tobacco. Tobacco flavors NEVER taste like your favorite cigarette anyway, so the sooner you give up on trying to find something that tastes like that good old Camel or Marlboro, the better off you'll be and the sooner you can enjoy vaping all the other flavors that are out there.

Coffee is tricky. It seems like some places get it right, but a lot don't. Fruit is easier. That's my preference anymore.

The only way to start with juice is to buy samples of everything that sounds good from every reputable vendor you can afford. Buy just 5ml-10ml until you know you like something. The quest for the "perfect" e-juice never ends.
Look for deals. They come up frequently. Right now, the best deal I know of is 10ml bottles for $0.99 from Goodprophets.com
I can't make my own juice that cheap, so I stocked up even though I never even tried their juice before. For a dime a ml, how bad can it be?

I'm right there with ya. Ordered 24 bottles. Should be here Monday.

Honestly, I'm not sure yet. They have a good rep for everything else and for that price, even if it's terrible I can probably fix it with the DIY stuff I have. I should know in a couple days.

Oh, and there's no limit, so the variety is dwindling fast. If you want to check it out, best hurry before nothing but roast chicken is left.

Let's say someone wants to dabble in a little DIY, where would one start?

I have been perusing different sites for hours and sadly I want to buy everything haha. I'm definitely sure the kGo seems like the best choice. Still looking for liquid for fairly cheap. Going to go with fruit flavors as those seem to be something I'd like the most. The cheapest I can find for a 30ml bottle is like 14.95, but I think I'll get a bunch of 15ml instead in case I'm not that fond of the flavors.

I still think the Smoktech e-Power is the power unit of choice in the Ego class. Replaceable, generic battery, replaceable switch, same functionality as the Joye eGo and kGo power units.

Just repeating part of what I said above, about Tasty Vapor and their "Doublers":

$16 for 1 oz. (30 ml) of 48 mg flavored juice + $8 for 2 oz. of Doubler would give you 3 oz. of full-flavored 16 mg juice for $24, or $8 oz. , $.026 per ml. Still nowhere near as cheap as DIY, but not bad.

You're right. The kGo would be your best option, only after the e-Power, but maybe the e-Power is too fat or doesn't come in a color you like or something, so it's not an earth-shaking issue. (Maybe you haven't seen the more svelte 16450 e-Power?).

Good idea not to get large bottles right off the bat. I would say get 5ml-10ml samples. It stinks getting stuck with 30ml, or even 15ml, bottles of something you don't even like. The TastyVapors "doubler" thing is a great deal if you already know you like a particular flavor. I'm not sure if they do smaller sample sizes, but it might be worth a look because if you do find something you like, you can end up with a good amount of juice for a good price.

I just learned a lot about battery sizes and how the tell you right off the bat how "svelte" the device that they go in will be.

The first two digits of a rechargeable battery indicate the diameter, the next two are the length, and the "0" means it's a round battery.

Example: a 14650 battery is 14mm in diameter, 65mm long, and round.

Therefore, an e-Power 14650 is going to be almost exactly the same size as a Joyetech 1000mah eGo battery/power unit. As for colors, I think they come in black and stainless.

The e-Power 18650 might be what you're thinking of - a big fatty that looks to be about as fat as a ProVari. (Sweet-vapes confusingly refers to it as an "Ego").

I say again, I'd get the e-Power 14650, from sweet-vapes, and this is coming from a guy who still needs to order 3 of them from them, and you might get the last one.

Can you link me the one you're looking at, I see a couple different kinds. I love the look of that kGo I picked out, but I could be swayed because it's cheaper.

The e-power that sweetvapes calls an ego IS an eGo e-power. It's different than a Smoketech e-Power. The e-Go e-Power has a one-piece battery tube and switch assembly. The Smoketech epower has a separate, replaceable switch assembly. So, the Smoketech epower is preferable to the eGo epower.

Sailorman, I checked this site, and could not find this deal. Is it over? Is it Chinese juice?

It could be over. I bought mine 3 or 4 days ago. I haven't tried it yet but, from the comments I've seen, it's good, not great, but good. I don't know if it's Chinese or not. It's not re-labeled Dekang. In the end, 99% of juice is Chinese anyway. Some of it is just mixed here. If you ever saw the inside of a big Chinese juice factory, it would impress you. I'd have no problem licking the floor of a Dekang factory.

Can I ask why you recommend that over the kGo? I'd like to know the differences.

The kGo, and all the eGo type PVs are sealed batteries. Batteries don't last forever. Their lifespan is usually around 4-6 months or so (You do however get 2 of them in a kit).

The e-Power alone is not a sealed up battery. When the battery dies, you replace it for maybe $5 or so. When the kGo dies, you replace the whole thing for $14-20.

Also, if the switch on a Smoketech e-Power fails, you can replace it. If the switch on a kGo or eGo fails, you replace the whole thing, again at $14-20.

So, in the long run, the Smoketech e-Power is less expensive to maintain. It's not "disposable". Only the batteries are.

Also, when better 14650 batteries are available, you can use them.
Plus, if you travel, you can carry a handful of batteries instead of a handful of kGos.

Sometimes, I'm away from electricity or a computer for a week or two.
I can carry a bunch of charged batteries. If I used a kGo, I'd have to carry 10 of them.
I can also use a solar charger if I need to., But that's just me.

You seem to be saying that there is a manufacturer called e-Go that makes a line of power units that they call e-power. That is a new one on me.

I bought Smoktech 14650 E-power power units that are slimmer than what some manufacturers are calling an eGo, which again, I say is misleading because of the somewhat standardized meaning of an "eGo-type" PV which tend to measure 14mm in diameter, not 18mm.

The industry had better get their .... straight and stop confusing the hell out of everyone with their asinine terminology.

*****

"The e-power that sweetvapes calls an ego IS an eGo e-power. It's different than a Smoketech e-Power".

This thing http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?pag..._color_plus.tpl&product_id=296&category_id=22 at Sweet-vapes is a Smoktech Ego e-power, uses an 18650 battery, and is 18mm wide, as opposed to the 14mm of a Joyetch eGo battery. That is why I say it's confusing to call it an "Ego", and not something like the "SuperEgo". And I have my doubts as to you being correct about distinguishing this device from a Smoktech, when they are saying it's a Smoktech.

"I'm not sure if they do smaller sample sizes, but it might be worth a look because if you do find something you like, you can end up with a good amount of juice for a good price"

They sell sample sizes of their 15 best-selling flavors, $6.75 for 10ml.
