@BJ. I was wondering what the burn tolerance of the ramie is compared to the hemp. I had moved from cotton to hemp because it stood up to heat way better. How's the ramie compare?

I have the following, each type set up with ramie and hemp.

2 Russians 1.3 ohm 28g vertical coils
2 TGT 1 ohm dual 30g horizontal coils
2 Rockets 1.5 ohm vertical R41 coils.

I am vaping all in the 16/18 watt range and all with my DIY Ry1/cigar. They are all excellent but the best so far is the TGT with ramie. I am not very good at descriptive adjectives unless it is into a pretty ladies ear. So just trust me, ramie is very good.

Trying it now. Just wrapped an AO wick with a Ramie feeder in a TGT.

Jury is still out as I havent hit it more than 3 times yet.

I was surprised at how soft it was, and stringy fibrous, takes a tad getting used to.

Great, but a feeder isn't a true test. The Ao is still the power wick in that setup....

Pull that little piece of Ao and put a ramie thru the coil. you will be pleasantly surprised. And if you go dual like mamu suggested to me. WOW!!

4 days of heavy vaping. After the second day I removed the flavor wick over the coil. Like it better this way.
