Yep, it has been around for a long time... The individual fiber itself is very porous (absorption) and it has excellent adhesion (adsorption)....
So far this is as clean a flavor as the Ao wicks without the lag or dry hits...

OK, you convinced me to try it..... Ordered!
Have two newly wicked kayfuns. 1.28 and 1.3 ohm vertical coils. One with hemp and one with ramie. In the process of vaping away girlfriend flavor from my fingers on both. This should be a good test on the second tank on each...
New learning curve on packing the ramie, had to open it up twice and pack it much denser than the hemp.

Now what am I gonna do with the 483,286 wicks of hemp fiber I have left, if this works out to be better? 
So now after months of pushing the vertical coil in hemp fiber, it is really hard to say this. Today my favorite setup is the TGT with dual horizontal 30g coils at 1 ohm with two ramie wicks thru the coils and a ramie flavor wick over the top at 18 watts. Learn from the wise. Thanks mamu...

Thank you!! Its cost much more than hemp but if it has the taste of cotton from the start and preforms better than hemp it will be worth it. Count me in!!!
