You lucky, best option for me sounds like 20 bucks :(

What truly amazes me is that hemp seems to be produced here in Europe, but I just can't find it anywhere over here... so I need to resort to US/Canada vendors. Freaking globalisation... :D

I'm looking for a european address too, anyone found one yet?

Received this morning my rawganique.com 2mm/12 strand hemp, product TW12B200 (5th picture).

Wow! For me, it kicks cotton's ... so hard I'm ashamed of wearing cotton t-shirts now.

3x 15 minutes boil in distilled water. Air dried. Inside the IGO-L running a 1 ohm coil of 28 AWG. Just a very subtle hint of that "hemp taste". I actualy like it. Mixes well with tobacco/vanilla. Kind of earthy. Perfect. And it's gonna get better once it's broken in.

Thanks all for your help and suggestions.

I just wanted to add here that I've ordered the rawganique.com/HAtwine.htm TW12B200 as well. It wasn't for me but for my wife who has been very disappointed with silica, cotton, SS ... arrgh! I never thought that I'd find something that she liked.

She can't stop raving about the Vivi heads that I've rebuilt for her with this hemp. I was so surprised with her rave reviews that I gave it a go too. Quite spectacular I can say :) I too am very impressed.

Thank BJ43! (Again)

Thanks for the info, dakrido!

Be careful, I read the 1mm twine to be waxed, apparently, while the description of the 2mm twine says "2mm/2strands", which wouldn't be good for wicking either.

Not sure if the waxing by means of potato starch can be removed by boiling the twine, but I'd say unwaxed would be a better choice for us, anyway.

This one may be the most promising twine... "non ciré" should mean unwaxed, I think, thus good for our purposes.

Another possible alternative: this looks similar (description) to lovepedal's 1mm/6 strands, even though they do not specify whether it's waxed, or not.

Just wondering about shipping prices and payment methods, but you'd need to fully simulate - thus place :) - an order (and register with them) for details.

thanks again.

Found a great french site to order natural hemp:

Hemp yarn and twine - Type linen - Naturellement Chanvre

True xpen. Non ciré, means unwaxed. There's a USA flag in the top right corner of the site, that let's google translate the French in English. If that doesn't work, just drop le a line.
If you'd like i'll mail the site to ask if she can give me a shipping price. Let me know your location though
After heaving read BJ's experiences, I've ordered the 12 strand unwaxed 1.5 mm hemp.

The flag was indeed set to English, but that description didn't translate... I do understand some French, anyway, just not all of it :)

So you've ordered the 1.5mm/12? Great, I'll wait for your opinion on that one before ordering :)

Yes please it would be nice if they may publish their shipping prices, especially international ones... I live in northern Italy, so shipping prices to Italy would be fine for me thanks.

Interesting fact is too that the hemp on www.naturellementchanvre.com is of Romanian origin. Important because it's very different from Chinese hemp that gets sold a lot. Romanian hemp has less processing and the fibres the fabric is made from are longer then in the Chinese fabric, which make the Romanian fabrics stronger and longer lasting. The country is with 40.000 acres the largest commercial producer of hemp in Europe.
I've tried to find organic hemp which is almost impossible to come by...
To date, there have only been certain crops coming from certain countries that have been certified as organic. In any case, to date there has been no "certified organic" hemp produced in Romania. While the hemp grown and processed can be said to produced in an organic manner, the Romanian products are not, and have never been "certified" organic -- notwithstanding the claims of other suppliers of Romanian hemp offering "certified organic" hemp from Romania.

Just to eliminate any confusion, this is the 2mm 12 strand natural hemp I am using from Lovepedal. It has 12 strands and 4 seem larger. Each strands are made up of hundreds of fibers. So far this is the best of the many I have tried and is what I use daily. None of the organic or so called organic hemps wicked well, they were all too coarse.

Got a mail back from http://www.naturellementchanvre.com/en/71-hemp-yarn-and-twine with their shipping prices.
Uk and Italian clients pay €2.50 shipping costs for 10 metre wicking cord, or anything of similar weight.
The owner told me that clients from the usa or other "far-a-way destinations" can just mail with a request and a the shipping costs will be mailed back. He also told me that clients outside the EU must deduct 19.6% of the advertised prices, since this tax rate is only applicable for EU citizens.

I finally have a Vapeonly BCC mega, an Evod BCC and a Kanger Protank. The Vapeonly had the air to tight so I drilled one of the holes to 1mm and the Kanger the air was to free so I plugged the center hole at the base with a piece of a toothpick. The Evod was ok. All seemed harsh when vaping and I really didn't want to recoil immediately. I took them all apart and removed the silica over (flavor) wick and replaced it on all with 2 small pieces of 1mm hemp. It was a very good improvement on all three. Will use them this way until the coils go and then I will recoil.

For some reason my EVODs always perform better than my Vapeonly tanks, and I don't know why.

I am having the same result, the Evod is giving much better performance.... I also do not know why, except maybe the volume of juice in the tank, like my Penny performs better than my Ody.

It's official. I am now a total hemp convert.

I've tried it all. Carto's, SS, Cotton, even glass inner tube coils. Getting great wicking, vapor, and best of all taste right now with my hemp wicked dud. Oh, and that's with 100%VG juice.

Big thanks to BJ, and everyone that led the way on this better way to vape.
Queen thanks Big Screen D for pointing out using 100% VG too! :thumb:
No offense but I think I'll pass on the glass, inner tube, coils though...
