I've been looking around for a reliable, well-reviewed supplier of my m40x supplies, and finally decided on Shawn at LiteCig! Just submitted my order and can't wait until it gets here....

I ordered:
- a manual m401 batt(black)
- the m401 usb pt(black)
- an auto m402 batt(silver!)
- a couple of m4 attys

Can anyone comment on the m4 passthrough? It took me awhile until I finally gave in and bought one.... I was a little disappointed Shawn was sold out of AC wall to USB adaptors, but I can wait!

What about the m401 manual batteries? Do these have the 7-sec cutoff?

Now the moment I hate....eagerly waiting for USPS to bring me my loot....

We just picked up a couple of manual M401 batts from Shawn and they appear to have the 7-second cutoff.
I just timed it and either it stopped or I ran out of air at 7 seconds. Man, that's the first time I've tried that and I don't think seven seconds is anything I'm going to want to do again.
You made a good choice in going to LiteCig. We switched to Shawn and LiteCig for all our M4 stuff just recently and haven't been disappointed. Did you see those metallic red and blue batts? Very nice. Waiting now for the black extended carts to come in.

Yea the metallic blue/red batts look pretty snazzy! I'm partial to the woodgrain battery, I just wish they made them in 402-sized(for my pcc) and with a manual switch!

I love my 401PT. I'd rather dip than drip and it's easy to use a bottle cap by the keyboard to keep the exposed atty fully loaded:thumb:

Good to know! I'm also a dipper, after spending about 8 months dripping. I use a cheap contact lens case to keep some of my DIY e-liquids in. I like being able to carry two flavors of juice in one case. Looks like I'll be dipping with my new passthru also!

Good to know about the 7-sec cutoff on the manual batts. not that it ever bothers me with my auto batteries, just sometimes I make my DIY juice too thick(too much VG) and creates more resistance on the draw, so occasionally I hit the 5-sec cutoff with my OLD m401 battery(after 5-sec the battery cuts out for 2 minutes!). I think 7-sec should be more than enough time for me with the new manual batt

Just curious, is there a 7-sec cutoff with the PTs?

omg i just got my order, and i am ecstatic!

The 401 passthrough is a gem, I don't know how I went so long without one!!!

My 401 manual battery is great, again, I don't know why it took me so long to get a manual batt.

Actually, there was a mistake in my order. I had ordered a manual 401(black), and an auto 402(steel), but I received two manual 401s.... I'm going to send a message to Shawn to get this resolved, but it's not too big of a problem. I just wanted the 402 battery so it'll fit in my 402/3 PCC.

But besides from that mix-up, everything is awesome! As soon as I get rid of this primer fluid on my new atty's I'll be vaping like a champ!

I tried it in the hub, and the usb wall charger that comes with the reg 401 kit, also tried the usb wall charger from my cell phone.

also, the wall chargers you're using won't work, they need to have higher Amp(erage). If it's lighting up solid, not flashing, then the battery should be working. i'm not sure what else it could be

Ok, I got somewhere, I plugged it into the usb port in the back of my pc, and it works. Problem, the cord isnt long enough for that too work. And the too wall outlets are a no go, gotta figure something else out.

ooo yea, the usb ports in the front of most PCs don't get the same amount of power that the ones in back get. Shawn at litecig has AC-to-USB adapters on the site that have the right voltage and amperage for 5bucks, but they are out of stock. A quick search of the forums will let you know what the exact numbers are, and you can probably pick one up at radioshack for a few bucks.
