Ok, I got somewhere, I plugged it into the usb port in the back of my pc, and it works. Problem, the cord isnt long enough for that too work. And the too wall outlets are a no go, gotta figure something else out.

comparably, both my laptop and desktop power the passthrough, but I seem to get more vapor/power from my desktop power supply :p

Thanks, mystery solved. I was just thinking on the lines that the 2 wall chargers weren't meant for the job, but I suck at electronics. I knew USB sharing could cause problems, that's when it occured to me to check the rear usb. Yeah I see he is out of stock. I pulled the hub from my laptop, but the cord is still too short. Maybe I'll use the laptop til I get to radio shack. Thanks for the help, and hope you're enjoying yours. Oh well, I'll have to smoke my new bottle of caramel on the normal batteries.

Well, I finally decided to order the DSE 905 not knowing too much about it. Does anyone have any info on this model good or bad? Litecig also had the best price for this as I checked other sites that carried them. I was informed that this was the v2 model but there is a v3 model available-found it in Ireland-too far don't want to wait that long.

Hey i have the 905 and im lovin it much better battery life i get around 4 or so hours on one battery charge and i vape almost the whole time:p

I also like the 901 atty i think it works great i got some round carts for mine vs the whistle tip ones and they hold alot more liquid. I have a m801 also which is nice for on the go and the 905 is also but i primarily use it at home.
I have not tried any higher volt mods but i gets tons of vape with 3.7 volts i probaly will try a 5 or 6 at some point but for now im very content.......Also im a menthol smoker and have noticed that the menthol juice from shawn taste alot better on the 905 at 3,7 volts

So i think you made a good Mod choice!!!!! Plus shawn has the best prices ive found for attys and spare parts for it!!!! Happy vaping

I got one of these from Shawn back around christmas and I use it daily and it is holding up very well. No issues at all with it. I drip with the 901 atty on it and have a 901 to 510 adapter on the way for it. I can get about 6 hours of use out of a battery charge, notice a bit of a difference after the first 4 or so, and I vape quite heavily.

I tried to hook up the front USB's on my PC's but the inside was too tight, I thought I'd have to order the adapter or a USB ext for my rear port. While in Rite-Aid this morning, I was grabbing some canned air, and lo and behold they had a 6ft USB extension for $10, so I grabbed it, plugged it in and all in fine. Now my daughter can't rip me off, she thought she was gonna con me out of it.

I've been looking around for a reliable, well-reviewed supplier of my m40x supplies, and finally decided on Shawn at LiteCig! Just submitted my order and can't wait until it gets here....

I ordered:
- a manual m401 batt(black)
- the m401 usb pt(black)
- an auto m402 batt(silver!)
- a couple of m4 attys

Can anyone comment on the m4 passthrough? It took me awhile until I finally gave in and bought one.... I was a little disappointed Shawn was sold out of AC wall to USB adaptors, but I can wait!

What about the m401 manual batteries? Do these have the 7-sec cutoff?

Now the moment I hate....eagerly waiting for USPS to bring me my loot....

I know the feeling... I am also eagerly awaiting for my goods to be delivered!!! Placed my order with Shawn on the Thurs. and received a shipping notification on Fri.... so it should be here any day next week, hopefully!!!

I also ordered the m402, but got the kit which includes the wall adapter as well as the USB. I have been watching every video and reading up for over a week now, so that hopefully I won't have many issues once it comes in and I can vape away!!! Good luck to you! :)

The wall adapter works just fine for charging the batteries. The issue here, iirc, was it not working for the USB passthru. Which is true, the same wall to USB adapter will not work to power a PT if you got one you need a different powered USB hub or it has to go directly into your computer.

Yes I found that out. I had an adapter for my phone that didn't work either. My USB hub was the unpowered kind. That was was led me to figure out the USB problem. USB port on my PC is in the back and the cord wasn't long enough, there is an adapter you can get further up the thread, but I managed to find a USB extension cable to go to the back of my PC for the time being. We have a spare PC case. We are going to transfer my stuff to that case when we have some time.
